There are so many boutique beers on offer & it is easy to pair it with any of the beers. The atmosphere is fun & relaxing, if you are coming at peak times definitely make a booking as it is a popular spot.

Beautiful, beautiful setting. A very informative tour of the studio and the house, (thanks Barbara). We tagged along halfway through, and very grateful we could. Lots to see and admire.. A real trip back in time to a beautiful house, with so many of Hans Heysen’s detailed Australian drawings and paintings to view. And those of his daughter, Nora. You don’t need to be an artist to appreciate the ambience and soul of the house. Well worth the trip and needs and deserves everyone’s support to maintain.

Howard Vineyard is a stunning family owned Adelaide Hills winery and wedding venue located near Nairne, just 25 kilometres from the Adelaide CBD. Set amongst the rolling vines, towering trees and terraced lawns, sits the Howard Vineyard Cellar Door. A beautifully restored stone barn. Clover Restaurant is where we embark on a farm to plate journey. Our Head Chef Heather Day will take you on a food experience, savouring the exotic flavours of Vietnam, Cambodia, Thailand, Japan and Szechuan China. Heathers passion is in preparing fresh and vibrant South-East Asian food, beautifully presented and made to be shared between friends. Fresh Asian herbs and vegetables are hand picked next to our vineyard and as many ingredients as possible are sourced locally from the Adelaide Hills. Heather only uses the best seasonal produce and the menu changes to reflect what is delicious and in season. Open for lunch Wednesday to Friday & Sunday for lunch. Open Tuesday - Sunday for wine tasting.
Came for my husband's 40th. Food was awesome, ambience and music were wonderful. Staff were friendly and helpful and accommodating. Wine was first class. Thank you. We would recommend to anyone. The kids were really happy playing on the grass all afternoon (ages 3 to 14). Thank you Howard's Vineyard.

The Shaw + Smith Tasting Room is located at the winery and offers Wine Flights: a semi formal tasting of our 4 wines, accompanied by a cheese sampler plate. Wine Flights are designed for one person, at a cost of $15 each. One Wine Flight is redeemable with a purchase of 6 or more bottles of wine. You can also purchase a glass or bottle of your favourite Shaw + Smith wine to enjoy on the summer Terrace looking out towards Mount Lofty, or in winter relax in the lounge by the open fire. Open 11am to 5pm daily including public holidays.
In the old days you used to go from winery to winery tasting as you went. This is a more modern concept. Classy surroundings, you book a table and sit with friends, food is available for purchase, as is a guided tasting experience. I enjoyed it but it was probably far more commercially successful for the winery.

Thus place is simply A.M.A.Z.I.N.G... South Australians are so environmentally conscious and these Wetlands are a monument to their success. We were pleasantly surprised to see such perfect management of nature. And to think this place not only helps to sanitize the local sewerage but also feeds the plains with much needed nutrients. We saw so many different types of bird life here. An outstanding venue for bush walks, picnics, cycling or simply sitting and relaxing. Well done!

We enjoyed the generous tasting of 6 different wines for only $5 per person, which was redeemed on purchase of wine. Lovely selection of whites, rose and reds, with varieties we’d not tried before. We shared a cheese platter, which was amazing, and my son had the chocolate cake, which he loved. Would have liked to try the chocolates but were full of cheese! Beautiful location, and child friendly too. Well worth a visit.

Beerenberg Farm is a "must visit" for all food lovers visiting the Adelaide Hills. Purchased tickets for my mother and father(both in their 80's) and my husband, myself and our daughter(30'S). We had a great day although a bit chilly, we were able to board the train a bit early. The volunteers were very friendly and very informative. It was great to see the different country side as we travelled along. Also we could see the kangaroos trying to keep up with the train. My husband and I are thinking about taking our grandsons when they get a little bit older.I think they will have a ball. We didn't get to see much of Victor as we had to wait over 40 mins for our lunch at the Crown Hotel.

A 15 minute leisurely drive from Mount Barker on some narrow and undulating road will bring you to the Mount Barker Summit. The last section is unsealed, but a 2WD vehicle is fine.
The area is significant to indigenous people. A large comminications tower was constructed after long protest. Interesting rocks indicate turbulent geological activity. Significant flora, but no services.
Scenic views across to Mount Lofty and as far as the Coorong. There are some easy trails to follow. The summit is a short walk from the car park. Bring water and a hat if it is hot.
One of those things to do if you want to see a unique side to South Australia. Fun and free.
