Outstanding outdoor experience - unique street and nature challenge for your mind & body! The unusual mix of a treasure hunt, quest in reality and drive competition!
Wonderful moment with the team of Friends of the Environment. One of the best places for team building events where you can foster team spirit, collaboration and leadership skills. Furthermore, it was fun to wrack of brain to be able to escape from the rooms. GO THERE you won't regret!!

The whole experience from being picked up in a private car to travelling to Port Louis, introductions and explanation of what to expect during the days horse racing,Watching the races from a private box while being fed and offered lots to drink. Even though we didn't come away winning on the horses we had a fantastic day. I would highly recommend.

I don't think any of the Mauritius malls compares to European ones shop selection wise, but if you want to have a shopping spree this is the best place to do it. Okay selection of stores, food court, free parking place and convenient location next to motor way. Easy to do together with Eureka Maison as it almost in the back yard of the mall.

I’ve used this company twice so far, from the airport and the tour of the south. I also have my return airport trip booked. The firm is very easy to communicate with via What’s App and they send email confirmation straight away. The drivers arrive promptly and are polite, well spoken, informative and friendly. Nishal was a hard working local, he told us lots about the history of Mauritius. Abu was the other driver I think, he was relaxed, good to talk to and also informative. A great firm that I would definitely recommend.

Avoid at all cost. Rude, disingeneous staff and management. We went there as a family in a group of 12, and had pre-booked and pre-paid for 3 hours of bowling, karaoke and pool, with free non-alcoholic drinks and finger foods. When we arrived, for an 8.30 pm start, only 2 lanes were occupied, including our own. Bowling started near 8.45 pm but was immediately stopped after the first couple of players had a go as the mechanism on both our lane and that of the group next to us stopped working. We patiently waited around until 9.30 pm, to finally start. The next couple of hours were ok - a couple more delays but not as long as before, a few more defects in mechanism but as we were hardly a competitive lot - thirty somethings out with middle aged parents and three young children, we were pretty good natured and did not complain. Bowling aside, the karaoke music was loud and cheesy, the finger food greasy but plentiful and the free soft drinks served in plastic cups marked with ones' names, hardly classy but tolerable. It was at the end of our first game at 11.30 pm, that things started to go downhill. The staff came to tell us we had to go, and after reminding them we had paid for 3 hours, that started late, one of them said he would do us a favour and let us stay till 12.30 am. At 12.00 am, he came back, this time very aggressively to let us know that we had to go and when we told him it was still too early, started a rant about how we were not behaving decently and it rapidly escalated into big shouting and him telling us that we were disappointing him with our behaviour. It caused maximum upset to our group due to the young children and our parents being there, and a crowd around (the reason the staff was probably being so aggressive to make us leave). Completely taken aback by the level of aggression and rudeness for a place that is supposedly in the hospitality and entertainment business. Not to mention shameless bullying tactics to short change us since we had already paid.

Being a gold-smith master in third generation Bernd Wilhelm settled in Mauritius fifteen years ago. The paradise island of Mauritius inspires him since then in all creations. Yellow, pink, red or white 18 carat gold, brushed or polished, with or without diamonds - from these few elements Bernd Wilhelm dares all kind of combinations. The atelier can be visited on working days from 8 a.m. till 5 p.m. It is advisable to call one day in advance and get an appointment. It can happen that the taxi driver won't find the place (no commissions are paid here), therefore please do not hesitate to contact the atelier directly. You can pay cash or with a credit card and take the jewellery with you. VAT is refundable at the airport. Take a round in the showroom. Maybe your new favorite is already awaiting you! Recently the Deaf TV from South Africa visited the factory. That is how they see us: https://youtu.be/DJ0dJ3KOcSc
We went to Quartre Bornes to the textile market thinking it was a worthwhile trip. However forget about it, not worth the visit. Luckily we discovered that close by was a jeweller and both mum and I always interested in jewellery asked the taxi driver to find Bernd Wilhelm the jeweller. And what a find it was. Bernd’s jewellery is mind blowing beautiful. His work is really exquisite. All his work is unique and he works with all type of golds and silver. On top of that he is extremely helpful, going the extra mile. My mum found a beautiful ring and the size needed adjusting. Instead of needing to come all the way back to Quartre Bornes Bernd came to our hotel. While talking to him we showed him some pieces we wanted changed and he made wonderful suggestions. Again some days later he came back to the hotel and presented us with our redesigned jewellery. We were very happy. I can highly recommend Bernd. Treat yourself to a beautiful unique design from his showroom or have some of your jewellery altered. Thank you so much.

Had the pleasure of enjoying a magnificent New Year’s Eve at Grain de Sel.
I was blown away by the service, quality, passion and produce in this restaurant.
The food was made in heaven, cooked to perfection and beautifully presented. Each course was a sensory surprise. You really have to see, smell and taste the courses to have a true appreciation of the complexity of the meal. The dessert was to die for..
Thierry you are working miracles and your staff are your best asset. They really are a great crew.
It's definitely worth it for a special occasion or for your "must go" to restaurant during your stay in Mauritius.
