This small and beautiful cemetery was donated to the United States as a permanent burial ground without charge or taxation. There is a stunning memorial that is above the burial sites. There are 4,398 headstones in eight plots that lie below the memorial. This is a quiet and peaceful place that brought me to tears. Try to be here before 5:00pm for the flag lowering ceremony. If you want, you can get involved in folding the flag. You will really be moved and I feel privileged to have experienced this amazing place.

An interesting walk while getting to the Duomo. The Piazza is a great walking place with plenty of shops and cafes, but the Piazza is getting crowded with immigrants selling knock offs who have become more than entrepreneurial, now they are becoming just annoying and they hurt the overall experience.

We visited the vineyard with extended family for a wine tasting.
It was AMAZING value, friendly informative staff, Greta was a delight, she spoke good English and had a lovely sense of humour, everyone had a marvellous time!
I couldn't recommend enough!

Wonderful tour of Chianti Classico Winery, Monteriggioni, and beautiful medieval Abbey.
We enjoyed a well paced day including a lovely lunch and tour of a Tuscan villa and Gardens.
Arianna planned the day with our input and treated us to an outstanding Tuscan experience.
We look forward to planning another trip with KM Zero Tours.

As a group we had a personal tour from 6pm after it was closed to the public. Our guide took us around the Monastery where we viewed several hundred years of history from the small secluded rooms where the monks spent 23 hours of the day, the beautiful interior of the church, the paintings, cellars and the cemetery where they are buried- all on site. There are only 4 practicing monks left here and they are aged between 60 and 80 years. Unfortunately, after their deaths, this Monastery will close to either become a hotel or a museum. Hopefully it will be the later as long as they can receive
the funding to preserve the history. The restaurant just a few minutes drive away where we dinned cooks 3 meals a day for the monks free of charge which is very special and shows the local community spirit.

I went to Piazzale Michelangelo twice, both time I had an amazing experience, the views of the Florence downtown and Tuscany villas on the side hills are spectacular. Get your camera, a bottle of wine and some cheese, then sit ther with your companion and enjoy the changing views as the days progresses. Sunsets are a must!

Amazing piazza with Palazzo Vecchio and Uffizi and the beautiful lodge with amazing works of arts: original statues by Cellini and other masters in marble and bronze. The copy of David is in front of Palazzo. There is a lot of interesting history like secret passage from Palazzo to Pitti palace, there is a marked spot where Savonarola was burned and lots of other interesting facts and monuments. Most importantly, a gorgeous square.

It was the main church in Impruneta. It was centrally located and had its own museum and small gift shop. There was a photographic history on the back wall outlining how the church was destroyed during the World War. It was very interesting.

Due piscine da 25 metri una interna e una esterna. Tanti corsi anche durate l'orario del nuoto libero per cui spesso le corsie sono affollate e l'acqua non proprio trasparente.
