Gagra (Georgian: გაგრა; Abkhaz and Russian: Гагра) is a town in Abkhazia, sprawling for 5 km on the northeast coast of the Black Sea, at the foot of the Caucasus Mountains. Its subtropical climate made Gagra a popular health resort in Imperial Russian and Soviet times.

The waterfall is at the end of a very very bumpy road, at is normally at the end of the tour, so be ready for a sore bum.
It is impressive and worth making the effort for. It's possible to get a beer for 100RUB and enjoy the view at the end of the day there.

Beautiful piece of nature in the heart of Abkhazia. It takes some curvy road to reach it, but then you'll just marvel at the gorgeous views all around you. And as a bonus, hidden from the sight from the lakeside, one of the small side roads will lead you to Stalin's dacha - one of his retreats in Abkhazia. Depending on the will of the current president, it might be open or it might be closed. The entrance fee is nothing and you will get access to a fascinating insight into Stalin's private life.

That's the visit card of Gagra! Stay and fix it with your camera! Nice views! But too many people. Nice pics in the opposite side - marble lions!

This park must have looked glorious at the times of its heyday. It's still lovely and green at present, but obviously not enough care is put into it, which is a great pity. Nevertheless a nice place for a stroll.

Did not impress. Simply a small waterfall with an attractive name. A good thing is that it's located right on the way to the Lake Riza.

The waterfll is faaar behind the colofull ribbons placed everywhere. People are not interested in the waterfall itself but to wrap a ribbon around a tree or another object.
