I went there because my son is interested in cars, because some friends asked me about it... so I wanted to discover myself. A bit hard to find, an unbelievable location in the industrial aerea of Torbali / Izmir. But WAWWWWW once I was inside, it is so impressive, so well maintained, so attractive... even for people (like me) who are almost not interested in cars..... A real discovery!

In the turn of the century, Urla Sarapcilik started a journey to reestablish the lost reputation of Klazomenai, assemgling its old custom with a modern approach in their own vineyards. Urla Sarapcilik, focusing on viticulture and wine production on a regional scale, aim to revive the ancient wine culture of the area and bring its glorious heritage to future. Spread over 350 acres, our own vineyards are overseen by organic and good agricultural practices since their early plantations. 150 to 200 thousand liters of quality wine are produced from endemic and international varieties improved though ongoing clone selection practice. Standing on as passionate as ever, Urla Sarapcilik is determined to open new horizons for its homeland that is earning better recognition as a tourist destination day by day.
This is arguably the best vineyard in Turkey... and it's certainly a true delight to visit - not just because of the beautiful lay-out of the vines and indeed the whole property, nor because tasting their range of wines is like discovering surprising little bijoux I hadn't expected to come across in Turkey... but also because the staff are frankly so knowledgeable and passionate about their métier... not to mention extremely friendly and welcoming

While driving from İzmir to Aydın we have seen this Mountains spot and stopped to visit it.İt was about 24 kilometers after exit from İzmir.İf you like to walk with a suitable slop in Mountains, this is one of them as you are not soon going to be tired because of the slop. Now it is very good time yo make a tour to this part as the small lakes in and around it are very nice and the fresh air and the oxygen make you awake specially in this hot summer days.A part of this nature has been also protected by the government and this park is also open to the public.Very good place to visit and enjoy the time in quiet athmosphere with total relax.Very much recommended to go in a short tour,as well.

This was my third visit to the Arkas Art Center in as many years and I intend to go back when I'm in Izmir. The exhibits are located in a two-story, moderate size building; staff is attentive. Entrance is free. On all occasions we were left to roam on our own; while there are no guided tours for individual visitors (that I am aware of), there are descriptions of the exhibited items as well as the collections in English and French as well as Turkish, which is very convenient. The exhibited items come from the Arkas private collection as well as from other European galleries, museums, etc. (have spotted some from the Louvre, Bibliotheque National, etc.). I find the exhibits to be well curated and informative, esp. if one is interested in Izmir, the Levant, and Anatolia. Overall, it's a little gem in the heart of the city.

Motorcycle Riding seferhisar to Kusadasi i visited teos ancient city. My gps selected the worst route to city as natural stonned ground narrow road , that is nice experiance for street tire motorcycle on the only one direction. (Do not test yourselves). Anyhow I reached to stone crushed ancient road after 1.5 km riding to the ancient walkway route w/o permision to go in :) I was planned to spend half an hour but only open area route consumed all and i didnot visited enclosed exhibition places. That was 1/10 or 1/15 of whole location. As an ametour visiter need to spend more time with guide. I got only few page booklet for history thats all. Entrance payment (5 Tl) but not sure for all visitors free of charge for museum card holders.

Kordon, with its historical background is one of the most attractive places in Izmir. They say that two places are worth to watch the sunset: Rio and Izmir (Kordon). You can decide among several nice restaurants, cafes and bars waiting for you for an excellent sunset view there.

Alsançak is a modern, cosmopolitan and bright bohemian district in downtown Izmir. The cafes and bars together with wonderful restaurants and unusual shops create a good international atmosphere where people from all over the world meet. I was served one of the best coffee's I've ever had outside of Italy. Highly recommended.

Entrance for students is 2 TL and 5 TL for adults. It is far from city center but truly to worth to visit it. Please also consider the temperature of the outside before going because in summer it is pretty hot in July. Also bring your camera and buy something to eat and drink in the entrance because it is very large and there is no place to buy in all parts. This is necessary to get a map in the entrance.
