Seferihisar is a coastal district and the center town of the same district in İzmir Province, in Turkey. Seferihisar district area borders on other İzmir districts of Urla to the west and Menderes (Cumaovası) to the east, and touches İzmir's western-most metropolitan district of Güzelbahçe in the north. Seferihisar town center is situated slightly inland at an altitude of 28 m and the urban area extends towards the sea as composed of eight quarters, with some distance among some, and one of which, the neighborhood called Sığacık stands somewhat separately from the rest at a distance of 5 km, and has its own port and made a name as a tourism resort by its own right. The wide area of the district center partly accounts for the high number of the population and an urbanization rate of only 51%, and the general impression observed is rather rural in some of its sections. Both the center town and the district as a whole preserves an overall outlook of a pleasant resort area bearing typical Aegean characteristics and it is estimated the population reaches the level of 150,000 people during the touristic season. Nevertheless, the district's economy is still largely based on agriculture, with the production of tangerines and satsumas standing out, and only increasingly on tourism, with the presence of several housing projects or vacation villages, pensioners opting to settle in the region due to its quiet charm and under the impetus of a university campus that is in phase of being built. At a distance of 45 km (28 mi) from İzmir center, (Konak), the connections with the metropolis are made easily, especially once reached the six-lane highway in Urla. Seferihisar is where the ancient city of Teos is located and its highly interesting await further research and discoveries. The district's literacy level is 99%.

Words can't describe the scene as you eat your fresh fish and get served with the happiest server team. It might be a little far but worth the travel. Sunday's they have an amazing bazaar. Do not miss that either. Great experience.

Balık halinin yanında sıralanmış mekanlardan biri.Midye dolma lezzetliydi.

This is my favourite fish restaurant in Seferihisar. A family run business.
As the town increased in popularity, the population to be fed increased eventually, so I would suggest to go in weekdays rather than Bayrams, and weekends.
During the weekends, try to go early to avoid long waiting periods.
Fishes were fresh as always.
Red mullet and whiting were our fish selection.
Red mullet is usually expensive, the larger the more ... was delicious.
Large whiting was filletted, deep fried and very good.
Kalamari was good, well marinated and deep fried. Ordering deep fried by weight is usually more cost effective than ordering portions/servings. Although good this time, I have had better kalamari in this restaurant before.
Salads were very fresh, delicious and quite generous.
"Deniz borulcesi" is my favourite appetizer.
Price depends on what you eat.
You can check/bargain the price when you are ordering.
We were invited so I don't know about was the bill this time.
But it has always been in an acceptable range.
The restaurant does not serve alcohol, as the others, in that specific area, this also keeps the price range moderate.

Milos Restaurant is located in Sığacık, the marina of the Seferihisar district of Izmir. Seferhisar was awarded the status of "Citta Slow". This region is also home to the ancient city of Teos. Milos, a family business opened in 2013, offers you the best tastes of Turkish and Greek cuisine.
I really enjoyed our meal here. It was during cold February that we were here and we still found the restaurant full, so I advise making a reservation. The decor inside it typical Greek-Med and it was warm and cosy.
What I liked most about this restaurant was that I could drink Ouzo at the same price as Raki (so many hotels and restaurants charge way overpriced prices for anything that isn't local and it just puts you off), seeing that we were not being overcharged for anything was a relief and made the evening more enjoyable. The other great thing for us was that they stuck to the rules of no smoking. There was an outside heated area for smoking, but inside the restaurant it was refeshingly completely cigarette free - bravo to the owners for this!!!
The food was nice, we had mezzes and fish which were nice. I wouldn't say that the mezzes were better than any other I had in Sigacık, but I will say that the atmosphere, the ambience and decor make it our number 1 choice in the area. It isn't really for large groups with children and so for a quiet and maybe romantic evening out, this is the place to consider above other options.

We've been sitting here for 45 minutes waiting on fried sardines and still not getting anything because they've appearantly run out of gas to fry our fish :(

Mekan Seferihisar meydanda. Temiz bir esnaf lokantası. Ev yemekleri ve pide çeşitleri var. Mevsiminde yöresel yemekler bulunabilir. Fiyatlar ortalamanın az üzerinde.
