5 stars and no less. What a brilliant activity. We were thoroughly trained by Shane and Paul who made sure we were all competent and safe before we started our brilliant tour along the Torrens river seeing all of the sights up to the zoo and back to the North Adelaide par 3 golf club.
I can’t rate this event more highly. We were entertained by a commentary about the sites of Adelaide and saw so many great places, restaurants etc whilst becoming very comfortable using the vehicle
This was a test for us to see if it was suitable to use overseas. It certainly was.
We would love to do their Seppeltsfield tour also. It would be a great gift for someone.
Thanks guys , we’ll be talking about this for a long time.
It’s a great idea for tourists to our beautiful city!!

My husband and boys were lucky to have a ride on the trike around the discovery park barossa whilst touring with the surise weather team after winning a competition. The gentleman riding the bike was very friendly and helpful. My boys being under 8 could only go around within the caravan park slowly. But friends we were with, went for a ride and just loved the experience. I would definitely like to do it again and try out some wineries along the way, perfect way to get around, seeing the sights, taste testing some wines and having a designated driver!

From the moment you see your beautiful, gleaming, black Daimler arrive to collect you, you just know this day is going to be special. Have a brief chat with your guide, John Baldwin, about the wines you love, the wineries you have to see, where you have already been, and then leave it to this passionate local to personally tailor your tour just for you. These rare 1962 Daimlers can seat up to 8 persons when required, but it is really special to be the only two in the vast back seat of these historic vehicles (used in royal tours of the sixties). Premium wine tastings, sumptuous restaurant lunches with wine, afternoon tea at Maggie Beers Farm Shop are all included, plus free collection and return to your Barossa accommodation. John seems to know everyone, and he loves to share his local knowledge and close friendships which he has formed with the winemakers, with all who tour with him. You can visit the large iconic wineries such as Penfolds,Jacobs Creek and Seppeltsfield or be introduced to the smaller boutique wines at Torbreck, Rockford, Charles Melton and Charles Cimicky, to name a few. A Barossa tour begins at 10am and finishes at 5pm. Adelaide pickups are available (at extra cost) and begin at 9am and finish at 5.30pm. A modern 7 seat Mercedes is also available for tours to the Adelaide Hills, Clare Valley and McLaren Vale and is used for the Adelaide accommodation or Airport pickups.
John provides an exceptional knowledge of not only the Barossa region but other areas of the country. He ensures you receive a personal experience with the wineries which you will not get if you travelled solo. John is also educated on the wines and can...MoreThank you Emnandy, It was a pleasure to help you plan your surprise tour to celebrate your wedding anniversary. In Kalleske Cellar Door you will be able to taste our current range of wines and hear all about the history behind the Kalleske vines. Cheese platters of local Barossa produce are available to purchase and can be enjoyed on a picnic blanket on the lawn or in our cozy cellar door. Or why not try a self guided food and wine flight where each local produce is paired with a Kalleske wine. Out the back you can find games like Quoits to entertain the kids whilst being surround by a beautiful garden. Come enjoy our wines and learn the rich history that went into making them. In South Australia's Barossa Valley, the Kalleske family have been farming and growing grapes since 1853 near the village of Greenock. They are one of the region's leading grape-growing families consistently growing some of the Barossa's best quality grapes. After six generations of growing grapes, winemaker and seventh generation family member, Troy Kalleske, together with his brother Tony, established the Kalleske winery and made the first 'Kalleske' wine. The vineyard is low yielding with grapes grown organically and biodynamically and the winery is also certified biodynamic/organic. The Kalleske family are active practitioners of sustainable farming. They are caretakers of the land and not only want to maintain the environment but improve it for future generations. All Kalleske wines are estate grown and vinified with minimalist winemaking techniques used to fully capture the essence of the vineyard allowing genuine handmade estate wines to be produced. The range is a diverse mix of wines that showcases the splendid Kalleske grapes. Wines from Kalleske have been seven generations in the making, but they are certainly worth the wait!
We visited on Saturday at a busy lunchtime, but this this was certainly not a problem for Donna and Amanda who handled Visiting tasters with a professional, informative and friendly approach. They were still able to give a personalised experience to all that were there. The platter we had in the beautiful relaxing outdoor area was delicious and was a perfect match to the bottle of wine we also purchased to have with it. This is a definite stop in the Barossa Valley.

Langmeil came highly recommended and it didn’t disappoint! After a long hot day, where most wineries wouldn’t allow our dog inside, Langmeil staff was more than happy to have him in! And the wine was even better! We left with our 9 bottles and will...MoreThank you for visiting us and bringing your pooch! Glad you didn't go hungry too! Look forward to your next visit.

Damien and Eva Tscharke have created a unique space with their German style cellar door build, home to Tscharke Estate grown and crafted wines and Tscharke Barossa Pottery. A must visit when in the Barossa, not only for the architectural elegance of the cellar door building but also to gain an insight into sustainable grape growing practices and an introduction to alternate emerging Mediterranean varieties. A tasting wouldn't be complete without sampling a regional classic or two. Open Monday to Sunday 10am to 5pm Closed Christmas Day, New Years Day and Good Friday

We specialize in small tour groups 2 - 7 guests. Local tour guide Lis is passionate, knowledgeable & experienced about all things Barossa Valley. Tours are tailored to meet individual guests specific requirements. Tours are fun & flexible. On offer are shared, private & V.I.P. tours with a gourmet platter included. Showcasing the smaller boutique wineries. Avail airport & restaurant transfers.
We thoroughly enjoyed visiting some beautiful vineyards with Lis on our shared tour (6 of us). It was loads of fun and she took us to some less commercial vineyards which we really enjoyed. With just a small group we got to 5 vineyards plus lunch (all included) and tasted many many local wines.
There was absolutely no pressure to purchase any...but who could resist? Lis was relaxed with a great sense of humour, which was lucky as she may have needed it with us. :).
Overall a memorable day and highly recommended.

The Barossa Farmers Market: real food from the homes and farms of the Barossa Valley. We are a food-only traditional farmers market which operates every Saturday morning from 7.30am - 11.30am in the undercover Vintners Sheds, Angaston. Our producers sell a beautiful array of fresh fruit and vegetables (many of them organic), ethically raised meats, smallgoods, baked goods, fresh seafood, olive oils, vin cotto, confectionery, jams and preserves, teas and locally roasted coffee. We also have a breakfast bar, selling fresh egg and bacon rolls, fresh coffee, children meals, vegetarian and vegan options. Stock up on your fresh produce, buy a sweet treat and enjoy a delicious breakfast and coffee with friends. We look forward to showing you the best of the Barossa's food scene soon,
Local people told us that it used to be a wholesale market, but nowadays only on retail scale. Farmers would warmly invite you to taste the fresh fruits. Don't miss it as you will love the freshness of them followed by reaching your wallet.

Family owned Five Star winery with award winning wines and cider. Visit our famous mud brick cellar door and enjoy spectacular views over the Barossa Ranges with a local produce platter on the lawn in summer or by our roaring open fire in winter.
My husband and I stopped by for some tasting.
The tasting menu was extensive and their Black Sash Shiraz was divine!
The staff was knowledgeable and friendly. We had a lovely time chit chatting while we did the tasting.
The view was wonderful. However, we didn't get a chance to sit outside due to weather.
We would highly recommend a visit.

Artisans of Barossa is a group of like-minded producers with a common goal to protect and promote small batch, sub-regional winemaking. We are six individual wineries, with different winemaking styles representing the breadth and diversity of our home – Barossa. What binds us together is a commitment to making inspirational wines that uphold the culture and traditions of Barossa. Artisans of Barossa is home to Hobbs of Barossa Ranges, John Duval Wines, Massena, Schwarz Wine Co., Sons of Eden and Spinifex. We have a Tasting Bar, the Artisans Lounge and on-site restaurant - Harvest Kitchen.
Visited as a group of five (three from overseas) & arrived 15 mins before 3pm, but were only allowed to choose from the selections menu. We chose the three meat, three cheese platters and considering these are $35 each, we were completely shocked and disgusted at the small serving size. All tasted delicious, this certainly wasn’t the issue, but the prices really need to be evaluated. Unfortunately, it won’t be on any of our recommendations lists.
