Casual, contemporary dining set in the beautiful surroundings of Williamstown, with spectacular views of Melbourne across Hobson's Bay.
We dropped in for a quick Australia Day lunch while exploring Williamstown on a humid day... The menu is simple but the food is tasty. Oysters natural were fresh and delicious. We also ordered a garden salad and a cucumber dish - both were fresh, cool and very very tasty. The wine list is reasonable for an establishment of this nature and there are a good selection of beers on tap. Bread rolls were complimentary. Balcony overlooking the water and boats was a great way to spend a lazy hour.

Ragusa is all about gorgeous, honest, flavourful food in a relaxed setting. We went with friends for a thoroughly enjoyable Saturday night dinner. The service is friendly, authentic and prompt. It was a real treat to try some lovely, accomplished Croation wine which paired beautifully with my meal. I had the scampi risotto which I would go back for in a heart beat. The menu is varied and interesting. Quality food without the hassle of a stuffy fine dining venue. A must if you are near the area, and definitely worth the trip if you’re not. Recommend you book ahead.

At all times, Raga will be sourcing the very best of local produce, together with the freshest Indian spices to create food that delight the eye and the palate.
Many things to recommend them. Kitchen is open until 9:30, sometimes later. Thali nights on Monday and Tuesday are good food and excellent value. Rest of the menu is also excellent. AND the have an eclectic range of bottled beer which did include Newcastle Brown Ale until their distributor stopped supplying, try the Tui instead :)

Ciao Cielo - literally translated from Italian as Hello Sky - is a sparkling addition to the Melbourne restaurant landscape. Situated on lively Bay Street, in Port Melbourne, Inspired by Art Deco elements, Milano sophistication and the glamour of the 40's. Original floor to ceiling boards, beautiful lead light windows dating back to the old shop row days when hardware was the trade. A look at the portraits on the walls show a tribute to the very much loved and missed Lloyd and Mary Grand parents whom past in the Black Saturday fires Bryan's food is about strong italian flavours reflected in the abundance of amazing produce availiable locally in Victoria. Bryan is by no means a traditionalist, he believes in the right to be as creative as one desires with what you are inspired with.
This is quality stuff in a great ambience. Starters were scallops and king prawns in garlic aioli. Barramundi mains. Extras - just needed the rocket salad with parmesan, oil and balsamic. Excellent wines too. Service efficient snd with a smile. Pity we only found it on our last night in town...

Nice and cosy atmosphere and well worth the visit for brekky and lunch. Great choice of food on the menu. I loved the egg and bacon Sandwich. The staff are very friendly and welcoming and the food quality was very good and plentiful, but importantly, delicious.

I decided to have my birthday here as they have the most amazing singer on the last Sunday of each month from 1pm - 4 pm. I had 12 guests and upon my arrival I learned there was another birthday booked and the place was full to the brim. I chose to have the Feast Banquet, the food came on time and they did not miss a beat. It was simply delicious from the dips and hot bread to the meat balls, pork belly , hams, fish, the food just kept coming and coming, after all of these small plates they then bought out 3 amazing paella, ending with churro & chocolate sauce & coffee's. I could not fault the service , the food or the entertainment. Paul Grant the singer played all the old hit songs and we danced the afternoon away.
Thank you so much El Burro for the experience , we will definitely return.

I never write harsh reviews but I can't let this one slide.
I have been here 3 times and for some reason I keep thinking they will improve. The last visit was the offical final straw.
We went in to grab some takeaway breakfast as we were moving house.
There were 3 ladies behind the counter. They continued to gossip between themselves and it was a good 30 seconds before one of them finally looked at me with a "What can I get you?"
The second lady was standing, leaning on the counter and the third lady was shoving her mouth full of food off a plate and talking with her mouth full at the same time. It was EXTREMELY off putting and just plain rude.
Ordered 2 ham and cheese croissants and requested for them to be toasted lightly as we were in a rush. I'm going to add here that they were not serving anyone else at this time. 20 minutes after I had ordered I had to interrupt the three ladies to ask where our order was. She went off to the kitchen.
Finally came back with our order and said that it was up to the kitchen to let them know once the food was ready.... maybe if she wasn't so busy gossiping she could have used some initiative to go and check.
Really unimpressed by this place. Irony is that they also complained that festivals in the park across the road were taking their business. No, the poor service and attitude is killing your business.

You would hope you always lived with a pub like this somewhere near you. The Steampacket has the best menu in Williamstown, a place with a lot of good pubs. For me, the standouts are the steaks, the duck and the paella. Great wine list, and always about a dozen different beers on tap, and new ones each time you visit. Big screens for sports fans which somehow manage to not kill the comfy pub atmosphere. Great service and decent pub food prices.
