A piece of Badalona's history now adapted to a walk-in brindge into the sea, from were you can enjoy the sealine and the skyline of the city and also enjoy the feeling of "fliying" over the sea.
Walk until the end of it, close your eyes and fill your senses of the salty smell of the sea and it's murmuring.

The Basilica of the Sagrada Familia is a monumental church devoted to the Holy Family: Jesus, Mary and Joseph. Construction began in 1882, based on plans drawn up by the architect Francisco de Paula del Villar, and Antoni Gaudi was commissioned to continue the project in 1883. The Temple has always been an expiatory church, built only from donations. As Gaudi said: "The Expiatory Church of the Sagrada Familia is made by the people and is mirrored in them. It is a work that is in the hands of God and the will of the people." In 2010, Pope Benedict XVI consecrated the site as a minor basilica.

Experience the closest winery to Barcelona…Along the Mediterranean Sea, come and enjoy our vineyards located on the Serralada de Marina’s Natural Park (Alella-Tiana), just 20 minutes away from Barcelona. Based solely on organic farming, we invite you to taste our “transparent” wines and cavas, which reflect the natural harmony of man, land, vineyards and vintage in a unique setting.
Alella has the smallest wine origin denomination in Spain and is located next to Barcelona. We reserved lunch at Els Garrifers and later booked a private Enological visit, that was amazing. Highly recommeded. English speaking staff, very nice and expert in all related wine issues....MoreThank you very much for your comments! We hope you had a great time in Alta Alella and we hope you could enjoy our AA Dolç Mataró with a good piece of dark chocolate at home! ;-)

We saved $$ buying concert tickets online for half price.
Only 17 euros for "nosebleed" seats, but since they rarely sell out, you can easily move to better seats on same level after the intermission.
The building is gorgeous, we arrived early so as to walk around and admire the architecture. A couple of ushers were very nice to allow us to tour the inside 30 minutes before the concert, giving us our own tour.

This beach is not very different from those of La Barceloneta, with two very clear differences: there are no tourists and also has the charm of the Pont del Petroli which gives you a feeling of entering the Mediterranean itself. You could go there with RENFE from Plaça Catalunya

Stunning outside, unimaginable inside!
If you like Gaudi you then you'll love this! It was so interesting with great interacting phones and earplugs. So much information and lots to see. Didn't have to wait long to go inside and very reasonable priced.

The Anis Del Mono is a nice little monument depicting a Monkey holding a bottle of alcohol and looking at it at the entrance of the Pont Del Petroli walkway (Badalona's own viewing point) and more often catching the attention of the visitors for a photo ops or selfie.

Many of the buildings in this neighborhood date back to Roman and medieval times.
Really interesting area of Barcelona- lots of narrow streets and little hidden shops and tucked away cafe. The best part is to reach the Cathedral and take in the architecture.
Lots of over priced souvenir shops !
Get lost in the streets and find your way back eventually to your hotel!

The reasonable long Badalona Beach and promenades alongside the beach makeup for one of the most pleasant and relaying combinations to enjoy the long summer evenings. It is never crowded and even if it was, it doesn't look like as crowded as Barcelona simply because there is enough place for everyone and is mostly clean and serene.
