Our Scouts, Venture Scouts & Scouters had a unique challenge... to make it across Austria’s longest pedestrian suspension bridge; 200-meter long bridge that crosses Höhenbach Canyon at an incredible 110 meters above ground
The loved it! It's very safe but can be uneasy for those with a fear of heights but once you cross it you'll be glad you overcame it!
Take the stroll up from the town about 25 minutes and enjoy the experience

Jochelspitze - Lechtaler Bergbahnen

Reviewed By beestronaut - Vienna, Austria

The cable car is fine overall - it's quite nice to descend on it, drifting through a lovely Panorama. However, the Jöchelspitze rewards any hiker with one of the most gorgeous paths in the region, if not all of Austria - the aptly named Panoramaweg. Hike it towards Bernhardseck, then return on the Alprosensteig, and allow ample time for breaks, soaking in nature and the breathtaking views, as well as taking pictures. Bernhardseck is a nice place to buy a snack too, if you want.

Lechweg

Easy long-distance hiking through an alpine region which is also one of the last wild river landscapes in Europe: The "Lechweg - from the Spring to the Falls". Just in time for the 2012 hiking season an alpine region offers easy long-distance hiking for the very first time. On approximately 125 kilometers of trail, the Lechweg leads from the lake Formarinsee near the community of Lech am Arlberg, over Warth, into the Nature Park Region of the Lech Val-ley-Reutte and to the Lech Falls in Fuessen in the Allgaeu, thereby joining three regions and two countries with their traditions and stories.Depending on your condition and long-distance hiking experience, the route can be travelled individually in six to eight stages.Hiking host accomodations, certified according industry quality criteria, provide the needed comfort before and after each day-leg, and provide advice and assistance.

St. Anton

One of the more popular ski resorts in the Tirols.

Reviewed By WagsNewJersey - New Jersey

No question - St Anton is not a place for beginners or even lower intermediate skiers. The runs can be challenging. However, it is fabulous if you are a competent skier. With the new Flexenbahn lift you can easily move across a broad range of slopes from town to town - through the areas of Zurs, Lech and all the way to Warth. Each has its own personality. Views are dramatic throughout the ski area. There is a wide range of places to eat with well-made Austrian specialties. In March we never experienced more than about 5 minutes wait at lifts. One of the best places to ski which had the least crowds was on the Albonagrat. Be sure to ski over to Lech and take the Rufikopf gondola to a long blue run that feels like you are on top of the world. One warning - the long 100 run to the base of the Flexenbahn has steep pitches, a lot of skiers and can get bumpy. The town has a nice Main Street with a good range of restaurants and bars.

Lechtaler Bergheu-Museum

Reviewed By LOEWE9 - Baden-Wurttemberg, Germany

Wally Blitz Sommerrodelbahn

Reviewed By Dr J - Belgium

We were up to an afternoon of fun with a big group. This attraction concerns a "rodelbahn", a kind of one-person rollercoaster/slide in which you are responsible yourself for breaking on the way.
It is a looooooong way up (5-6 minutes) with nothing to see or hear, and once you start the descent, you find yourself at the finish line after 45-60 seconds for the nice price of €7.50, way too expensive for a ride this short.
There are many rules to follow, except a rule which says you can't slide down without breaking, because that gives the most thrills...
Unfortunately, this rule is hidden... so if they catch you sliding down without breaking, they will FORBID you aggressively to ride again, even if you have bought a ticket already, no refund.
We will NEVER go back to this shortest-slide-ever with the most unfriendly staff we ever met!
Don't get caught in this tourist trap.

Took Kanzelwandbahn up to Bergstation, magnificent views to surrounding snow capped Mountains on a beautiful sunny day. The walk up to the Walser Hammerspitze is a little bit challenging in places but well worth the effort. Awesome views also to the Kleinwalsertal.

Pfarrkirche St. Nikolaus

Reviewed By Peeters S - Halen, Limburg, Belgium

A very scenic summit which features a cafe and a restaurant. The way upto the top is serviced by gondolas and costs €35 if you aren't skiing. The prices at the restaurant is very reasonable and the views are so good it's worth every penny.
