Arenys de Mar (Catalan pronunciation: [əˈɾɛɲz ðə ˈmar], arenys being Catalan for "sands (of a seasonal creek)", and de mar for "by the sea" as opposed to Arenys de Munt, "sands up hill") is one of the main municipalities of the comarca of Maresme, Barcelona Province, Catalonia, Spain. It is situated on the coast between Caldes d'Estrac and Canet de Mar, about 40 kilometres (25 miles) northeast of Barcelona. As of 2010, it had a population of 14,688.

We were told this was a famous cemetery, and one to see, but we were not expecting the most beautiful cemetery filled with colour and life.
A place for those parted but who are still celebrated as being part of the family.
A colourful, joyful, vibrant place to bring the entire family to remember with fondness the past.
Not a sad place at all, a place of love for all ages.
A place for those of the town to rest finally with their friends and neighbours in closeness and peace..... as they lived so they finally rest.
I think we in England, in small villages and towns could take something from this.......I just kept saying"how beautiful".
Extremely well worth a visit for a little peace and sense of what life, and death, is all about.

This is an extraordinary if not eccentric museum, which holds the large collections of Mares. There is lots to see here, however the counter staff can be a little grumpy. Also, the museum is stuffy due to a lack of air conditioning.

Great place for a nudist bath in friendlly atmmosphere, 30 mins away from BCN. Clean, easy access and good food offering. Highly recommendable if you want to spend some relaxing time, sun bathing and swimming close to nature

there was only the two of us we were picked up from our hotel at 07.15 and taken to the boat in arenys de mar we had a 5 hour fishing trip and it cost us 485 euro the boat is called ramfel and skipper is called kurt the web site is the boats-sport fishing Barcelona the boat is at arenys de mar this is our second time we have been with him just go and have a great day out like we did.

Excelent place to spend time outside eating or drinking what you wish, at any time. People very warm and quality-price is fare.
The owner keeps under control the customer service at high rates.
You can ask for "platos combinados"( kind of dishes with meat & chips, or other things), or cold or warm sandwiches...ask for pork & cheese warm Sandwich....the best one....and enjoy it !!

Situado a pie de la carretera nacional, este local tiene dos entradas (por delante y por detrás). Es el local social, y en el tienes futbolines, mesas para juegos, sala de biblioteca y una impresionante terraza frente al mar que siempre da el sol. El servicio es correcto así como los precios. Esta situada en los bajos del edificio del Ayuntamiento. En verano horario de mañanas. La atención muy buena, así como los trípticos y las rutas que se pueden hacer. El conjunto del edificio está formado por dos antiguas masías: la Casa del Forn y el Hostal. Delante una placita con una fuente. Una oficina de turismo situada en un lugar de postal.

Очень творческий человек бармен. Готовит синие, черные коктейли, про красно-желтые уже и не говорю.Украшения классические, но вкусные сочетания, попробуйте обязательно. Атмосфера очень веселая, публика доброжелательная.

Spanish 'chiringuitos' are a unique feature of Spain’s Mediterranean coast, this one, is a bar on the beach which also offers food for lunch o dinner, and at night offers drinks and entertainment, we had a drink there a group of friends, under the light of the stars and beach torches, live music, actuallly a quite good artist playing the guitar and singing live in Spanish, Catalan and English, great place to chill out, good prices, all right on the beach under the moon light!
