We enjoyed a delightful dinner in a very interesting landmark of the city. The apple pancake was really something.

We saw good reviews for La Trattoria and went with pretty high expectations (unfortunately). The food was ok, but nothing to write home about. I had spaghetti bolonese, with overcooked pasta, while my partner had cannelloni. Both portions were large, but the meals arrived within 5 minutes of ordering which is never a good sign. The meals were bland indeed. We´d read that the lemon pie was good, so ordered that for dessert. Way too sweet, plasticy lemon meringue pie. The place does seem popular with the locals though, and server was nice. I think Salto has a real restaurant deficit (as does much of Uruguay...)

A great spot across from the spa and Termas del Dayman. It was very busy and they seemed to be understaffed, but the staff that was there tried very hard to keep things moving. Excellent choripan (sausage sandwich) and that fabulous Uruguayan grapefruit soda, Paso de los Toros. 10 times better than other food we tried in Salto.

Attention was very pleasant, food was delicious, excellent selection of wines and awesome Deserts. Wonderful surroundings and quiet indoor mood. Lamps cleaning could be a little better though.

We.discovered Trouville by accident and had to add it to Tripadvisor because we spent many hours here, waiting for buses. The food is good, the portions are huge and they have quite a varied menu, from pizza and pastas to traditional chivitos and delicious Deserts. We liked the food and the prices were more then decent, good place! The staff is nice as well, there is wifi, you can charge your phone or laptop or camera and pay by credit card. You have everything in one place.

The otel is great, so it's a shame that it's let down by this bar/restaurant. We ordered empanadas that were dry and nasty, a platter of cheese and ham that was not very uninspiring and cocktails that were poorly made. A great disappointment.

Recomendable!

We always order pizza from here. It´s delicious! Dining on location, can´t say the service is good , it´s just average. I´t depends on the waiter/waitress mood.
