Meet my friend I worked with many years ago, so lots of catch up chat was to be had. We choose from menu and sat in corner of busy place. 2 hours later everyone had left and we were still chatting.Enjoy a Prawn and salmon...MoreThank you for your review, there is nothing better than catching up with a friend....and over lunch too :-)

Having been many times before even under the new owners, we went with our friends in July, we were greeted by the same very friendly waiter who we have got to know well.
We ordered the same meals that we usually have and eagerly tucked in!!!!!
3 of the 4 meals were so disappointing, We sent 1 back the replacement was only slightly better, we will return as perhaps we were just unlucky and the chef had a bad day

Locally themed Bar and Eatery, which is guaranteed to make your day better. Great New Zealand Local Produce Food, Great tap beer Selection, live music and good times.
We enjoyed our meal here, though I have to say that the service was a little slow and not enthusiastic in the slightest. We arrived a bit late but they were open another hour, so there was ample time to order, eat and leave. But somehow the waitress didn't seem happy to see us. Perhaps she was having a bad day. We tasted several dishes among the 4 of us, and they were all very good. We'd come back if we're in the area again.

Hidden behind this unassuming little shop front is the Aladins Cave of sushi. The most amazing array of sushi that I have never seen all beautifully made and crafted. Most delicious too

This lovely cafe has beautiful views of Mount Pirongia and undulating pastures of cattle peacefully grazing, framed by a border of flowering blue agapanthus in summer. The staff are friendly and helpful and the menu comprehensive and tasty. The attractive gift shop has plenty to offer too. The cafe is closer to Te Awamutu than Hamilton and the drive between the two and the triangle created by including Cambridge makes a wonderful rural day out.

A enjoyable meal fresh and tasty.
Excellent service we were walk ins and where quickly seated. Being a Saturday there were plenty of people in the restaurant and orders for Takeout.
Entree arrived promptly and followed with main not long after. Decor could do with refreshing. Only thing that could improve the service is we were not asked about drinks during our meal.

Watch the world go by, sharing a selection of delicious tapas, enjoying a glass of one of our fine wines, or a locally sourced Good George brew. Enjoy the Fahrenheit experience across a number of different settings when you choose to dine casually in the bar, more formally in the restaurant, or taking in the stunning views of Mt Mangatautari from the vantage point of the balcony. From the people, to the beer and where possible the fare, locally grown flavour permeates throughout cementing Fahrenheit's position as a leading fixture in the local dining scene. Offering contemporary NZ/European style dining by locally born and breed Head Chef James Mitchell, our a la carte lunch, dinner and all day tapas menus offer exquisite dishes of hearty, honest fare. Expertly balancing exciting and innovative with quality and consistency.
This restaurant is on the second level of a building on the corner of the main shopping street. It has an excellent menu, full of variety. First time it was small plates - all tasty and quickly consumed. Second time it was entree and main and well satisfied. Solid if unspectacular wine list. Service was attentive and it is obviously a popular spot.

A small breakfast and espresso bar serving The Peoples Coffee on the grind. Come in and try some our delicious breads and pastries made in house at Empire. Breakfast and lunch options with plenty of gluten free options available. Other dietary requirements catered to when available. This Espresso bar is not your usual cafe. Attentive staff ready for a quick chat and good music make this the place to unwind and become a part of the furniture.
We called in here one Sunday morning and the place was buzzing - locals coming for brunch, one of the tasty treats from the cabinet, or just a coffee. We were in the latter group. This place has atmosphere plus; friendly and engaging wait staff;...MoreCan I just say that your review is my favourite to date!
