Built on stilts just above the sea, a unique blend of Chinese and Indonesian culinary style. The only place to go in Bintan which has the richest and freshest seafood while offering panoramic view of South China Sea. Open daily for lunch and dinner from 11:00 AM - 10:30 PM.
Friend recommend us and we ordered steam mantis shrimp, garlic chicken (nice but too many bone pieces) and Assam sotong (black and sour sotong). We read another review that recommend gonggong n tried but was a disappointment as some of them r still cold. It does have a indo Performances and transport to it are done by the kelong. So going and return to resort was easy. During trip out to kelong one can still enjoy the mangrove view.

Had the buttered prawns, chilli crab, fried fish with green cabe ijo (green chilli sambal), spring chicken, rujak (spicy salad) for lunch. Food was wuite tasty, and probably one of the best chilli crabs I've had, and that's compared to the ones in Singapore. The fish was actually quite cripy, but it has to be eaten immediately. For the bits that were under the sambal for too long, it actually became a little too hard and chewy. Buttered prawns were really crispy and the shells were crispy enough to eat like crackers. The fried garlic also added the perfect balance to the rich buttery flavour. The fried spring chicken was the only let down as there was nothing really special about it. The rujak was done really nicely, with a good balance of sweetness, saltiness, tartness and spice.
Also had the jagung (corn) juice and alpukat (avocado) juice without milk and sugar. Unless you're diabetic and lactose intolerant, go for the normal versions. They were still nice without the milk and sugar, but you would have to be used to drinking really green juices to get them down.
The strays around the restaurant were a little persistent about trying to get food from us. Really noisy for the group close to us trying to have a meeting.

We come here for a wedding of a friend. He did told us that this place is very popular with the wedding dinner. We have buffet and the food there is very nice. Even the selection of the vegetarian buffet look not so nice but taste great. I enjoy the wedding feast very much.

With dishes ranging from mushroom-cappuccino soup to beef fajitas, this restaurant serves Western dishes influenced by Asian tastes. Guests can also enjoy live Performances by the in-house band. Open daily for lunch and dinner from 09:00 AM - 10:30 PM.
Went for family dinner to Dino’s.
The staff were friendly, however kind of lacking in service ability.
E.g. I’ve asked for a table for four of us;
Then my daughter was asking me something, and I’ve answered her, meanwhile the waiter went to our table and waved at us to come over...
The food was soso.... Spaghetti were ok, steak was dry when ordered medium, salmon was ok and the pizza too.
However everything was served Wehen finished by the kitchen, but definitively not together. More like one after each... as I was done with the salmon and my wade was still waiting for the steak ...
And I waited about 10min before I’ve started to eat.
Based on the pricing, i can’t recommend that place much.
However, in this resort you don’t have much choices...
Best so far in the Nirwana resort ist the pool-restaurant...

the food is nice quality Indian and Indonesian, compared to some other restaurants nearby it is not too expensive but dare I say it still a bit overpriced.

Delicious food and wonderful service!
They make you feel very special from your entry into their restaurant until you exit.
We had a great time sitting by the window and looking on to the sea while enjoying Thai delicacies. Interior is also done tastefully.
However, prices are a bit towards higher side. And you need to book the place before you show up. Also pack some smart casuals to wear for the dinner at Saffron. And then you are all set for a wonderful evening!

One of the nicest dining experiences i've ever had. Not only was it a healthy buffet full of delicious selections of VEGAN food (no meat, no dairy, no animal products whatsoever) but the staff is super friendly. When you get a plate of food you go to the front cashier and they look at it and decide what you should pay. There is no set prices. You can also get energy smoothies. I personally had a smoothie (veggie mix) and two plate fulls of food and i spent about $7usd total and stuffed myself. Just an awesome place, very spacious, very loving and spiritual. Totally recommend it. I believe it is run by the local buddhists. Note: there is also a Vegan grocery at the front of the restaurant. Just AMAZING :)

We heard good things about this place and decided to check it out. Unfortunately, it was pretty average, nothing to shout about.
The people were friendly and helpful. However, the food was served cold, and most dishes were rather average in quality. Somewhat pricey too.
Won't recommend going out of your way to visit.

Stopped off for lunch on the way from the airport based on recommendations from friends. Food is generally pretty good although I wouldn't recommend the sea scallops. Portions are very generous and prices are reasonable. It is a Kelong style restaurant ( on a platform over the water) so it has exceptional views and a nice atmosphere. Would try again next time I visit Bintan
