Tangshan (Chinese: 唐山; pinyin: Tángshān) is a largely industrial prefecture-level city in northeastern Hebei province, China. It has become known for the 1976 Tangshan earthquake which measured 7.8 on the Richter scale, flattening much of the city and killing at least 255,000 residents according to official estimates. The city has since been rebuilt, has become a tourist attraction and has among the 10 largest ports in China.

My family and I were passing through Tangshan looking for a good lunch when we stumbled upon Endis BBQ in XinHuaMao Shopping Mall.
It was offering a 62RMB all you can eat & drink BBQ buffet, which we decided to try based on how busy it was. We were not disappointed, as both the Chinese & Western food options were of a good quality with everything from pasta, soups, sea food, salads, desserts, fruits, ice cream to ice coffee, fruit juices and restaurant-brewed beer!
For 62RMB you can hit the buffet as much as you want, and cowboy hat wearing servers are constantly swinging by your table slicing off freshly barbecued meats off of giant skewers. While the BBQ meat is not endless it was more than we could handle.
Overall it was a great experience, and we only wish that there was a branch in the city we lived!
NOTE: Use the entrance to the mall to the left of the Starbucks

I had some of my colleagues from America and Canada who wanted western food. Food was very good but one caution. They only take China credit cards so you will have to bring a Chinese colleague along or bring cash. We nearly had to wash dishes because we could not pay for our meal but luckily a colleague helped us out.
