Talara is a city in the Talara Province of the Piura Region, in northwestern Peru. It is a port city on the Pacific Ocean with a population of 103,200 as of 2005. Its climate is hot and dry. Due to its oil reserves, and ability to produce aviation fuel, Talara hosted a United States air base during World War II. Talara is also home to a large fishing fleet. The city is served by the Cap. FAP Víctor Montes Arias Airport.

The best pizza in the north shore Peru!
if you want to eat a good pizza and you are in the north in Peru, go to Don maximo, the taste are super good, and the attention to the costumer is th best!!!, don't, forget to ask for the owner MArquitos, im sure he can make your meal even better!

Stayed there for 5 days. We had a room with own bath on the 2nd floor, with balcony and hammock on it. Fine sea view, sound of the waves. We like it.
We had breakfasts, dinners and suppers in the restaurant all the time. There aren't many other places to eat in Lobitos, and guys from other hostels usually come here to eat or drink cold beer.
Food was good, but during our stay the food little by little came to the end. First the ham was over, then chicken, tomatos, bananas, cheese... I don't know why couldn't they just go to a supermarket in Talara, it's not so far.

Este negocio de pollería muy tradicional en Lima por su jugoso pollos a la brasa, al horno, al barril u otra forma limeña es casi copiada en Talara a su muy estilo norteño, me di con la sorpresa y me agrado mucho, junto a sus ensaladas de tomate, lechugas y pepino ideal para refrescar el incesanto calor talareño.

The place is small and very crowded. The wait is long but I consider the price and the quality good. The only major fault is the lack of tomato sauce in the pizza. Could be easily the best pizza in town.

Ubicado en el catálogo de restaurantes en la zona de punta veleros en órganos, es un restaurante tipo playa con una carta que cumple pero básicamente está orientados a pescado de la zona, en épocas que no sean de playa o el verano suele estar cerrado por lo que hay que tomar sus precauciones

Wow...just wow!! This place serves the best grilled steak I've had in a long time. I'm a huge fan of their gaucho style grill and their pit master is an expert at managing the fire. Cooked everything perfectly to order. I'm very critical when it comes to steaks and this place leaves nothing to desire.
Service was good as it seems to be everywhere in Talara. The place is clean and very inviting. I can't wait to go back again.

Machu is a new gastronomic option proposed by an equipment of free kitchen at the expense of the chef cesar nizama, which i know seeks to rescue typical flavors of our national gastronomy to elaborate an own, kitchen original and full of shades..
La comida es exquisita, tienen opciones vegetarianas.
La decoración en cada plato es sutil y delicada, ya con solo verlo uno puede afirmar que todo va a estar rico.
Preparan unos tragos deliciosos, recomiendo probar todos los chilcanos.
El lugar es muy lindo y la atención es muy buena!

La verdad es que el restaurante no es un lujo, es más un huarique, pero sirven un montón, todos los platos son en fuente para compartir. El precio es super bueno y la cantidad que sirven es para varias personas. Lo recomiendo.
