We arrived at 21h00, quite late. Although the kitchen was close to closing, we ordered and was served within 10 minutes. The waiter was friendly and attentive. The food tasted great

Stilbaai has a selection of 'surf and turf' restaurants also coffee shops. After an absence of a few years however we went back to Hanlie Lubbe's superb low-key bistro, 'Hanlie's'. Here in a cosy, romantic and intimate atmosphere, the welcome is warm, the service is...MoreThank you! We are delighted that you enjoyed your experience with us. Hope to see you soon. Kind regards, Hanlie

Cafe serving organic fare, free range products, breakfasts, great coffee and light lunches. Homestyle baking. YUM!!
We entered the restaurant to have lunch, but were told to leave since the staff was very tired and begged the owner to close the restaurant.
Can't say anything about the food, since we were asked to leave, but it sounded not very service friendly to send clients away to give your staff a break....

Lavender Social Cafe (previously White Wash Coffee Shop) is a family run establishment offering Banting, vegetarian, vegan and meat-eater friendly food. Where possible, we will assist with special dietary requirements. We also offer booked functions for 10 or more people in the evenings for birthday parties, celebrations or groups.
Tucked away in a quiet corner this coffee shop provides tranquility, shadow on a warm day, a children's corner, extremely friendly and quick service, and deliciously and well prepared food.
A lovely fig tree in the corner on the grass sheltering and providing various garden birds with feeders and water. The best food we had in three weeks in Stilbaai and highly recommended, actually want to keep it a secret!

A sort of casual, semi covered setting with a fantastic view over the harbour and sea and social, friendly feeling. We tried three different types of fish, and each time received a big portion not only of the fish, but sides as well. Delicious, very nicely prepared. Overall best seafood we've eaten in Stilbaai.

Nardos Pizza is a cozy, family run pizzeria and take-away in the popular holiday retreat of Stilbaai in the Western Cape. Our specialty is wood-fired pizza, with only the freshest ingredients, using traditional techniques taught by our mentor and famed Italian restaurateur Bernardo "Pappa" from Trattoria Napoli in Fish Hoek, Cape Town. We bake Ciabatta bread twice weekly (out of season) on Wednesday & Friday, daily during holidays.
We ordered 2 large pizzas for take-away. The staff was friendly and the pizzas were prepared quite quickly (~15 min). The pizzas themselves were very reasonably priced, although for "large" pizzas, I found them rather small (we would have been better off ordering 3 than 2 for our group...).
Taste-wise, the pizzas were OK -- I've had worse, but I've also had much better. It didn't help that the crust was thin. I know many people like it that way, but I'm a fan of thick-crust pizza...
It was okay to tide our hunger this one time, but I don't think I'd have this pizza again if there were other options around...

Arrived on the morning of the Trans Augulhas and saw the perfect spot for breakfast after braving the howling wind.
Best spots with awesome views reserved for smokers (as usual)... decided the owner is probably a smoker.
Breakfast special was good, viennas, only scrambled eggs?, nice coffee and toast.
Friendly young waiter, was very busy with a long queue outside.

Our wedding venue and tasting room were built in 2014, this with our deli and seasonal family restaurant, make Kleinbergskloof Olive Estate a true one stop location. Kleinbergskloof also offers a number of other products including marinated table olives and preserves as well as the finest balsamic vinegar from Modena, Italy.
Found this place during a cycling expedition in Stilbaai. It is a seasonal pop up restaurant and we really enjoyed our coffee and scones during a cycling stop. Beautiful venue and views of the river. Will have to return for their delicious looking burgers.
