We stopped here after a day at the beach, and almost 2 weeks in Greece eating Greek food at every opportunity. The mojitos are great and the food was great! Note there isn't really any demand for avocado in Greece so you won't see it anywhere on the menu. Definitely a must visit.

Gone are the Waitstaff with attitude. Food is now exceptional (especially the spit roasted lamb) to go along with a new attitude of customer service. Nicos now wraps the whole package together with great sea views, great food and fantastic customer service. As always their prices are very reasonable.

Hotel Ostria owns and operates "La Trattoria", one of the best restaurants on Naxos Island and it offers Greek and Italian Cuisine. The location, the beautiful environment and the exceptional recipes will make a memorable dinner.
I intended to go to Del Mar Cafe which was closed for dinner.
La Trattoria next door was crowded and as it turned out, served great Italian food.
The menu has far more Italian than Greek dishes. Many options for pizzas and pasta.
The capriciossa was very good, not quite like Naples but very good.
I had linguine Tia which was also excellent.
The tiramisu was delicious albeit different from Italian versions.
The staff was friendly and helpful.
Going back again before I leave Naxos!

Agios Prokopios Taverna Anesis - Spiros one of the oldest taverna's in Agios Prokopios keeps on serving the most delicious, fresh food at low rates. anesis spiros taverna agios prokopios naxos Restaurant Anesis Spiros Restaurant Anesis Spiros menu offers traditional recipes, a variety of seafood flown in fresh, rich selection of cold and warm food appetizers, salads, pasta dishes as well as meat dishes and unique daily culinary offerings crafted with fresh, locaingredients. Don't miss pork on the grill every Saturday as well as the famous lobster pasta. You may also enjoy fresh calamares, shrimps and fresh fish all on the grill. This place was recommended by our hotel, so we decided to try it. We ended up going back several times because the food was really good. Plus they have cheap house wine by the half liter (very drinkable). I recommend the chicken souvlaki here. Plus the over-baked feta is delicious too. As is custom, they give a platter of fruit and some raki after the meal. I definitely recommend this place. It's all the way at the northern end of the Agios Prokopios beach.
Also this place is cheap...I have no idea what other reviewers are talking about when they say this is "very expensive"...a meal like this in New York or Western Europe would cost A LOT more. My girlfriend and I had a huge dinner here and drank 1.5 liters of wine (that's two bottles of house wine) and then we had the complementary fruit and raki and the bill came in under 35 euros.

This restaurant was on the roof of our hotel and is used for breakfast in the morning. We were the first guests of the season and feared the place would suffer from lack of atmosphere. It did on the only night that we dined there. However, the steak dinner we had there was very good and the views across the beach and to Paros are the best in town. Only part of the roof can be enclosed so avoid windy or chilly evenings. Also the kitchen is on the ground floor so despite the dumb waiter the food could get cold at busy times. A difficult place to make a success of except in peak season. However, the manager Vaggelis is a great character and waiter Elvis is very attentive.

This place, like 90% of places in agios Anna and prokopios clearly had better days. The massive increase in tourism has, with new places coming up each season, is pushing these restaurants towards greed and mediocrity. The food is, frankly, simple, tasteless, and in no way anything more than a tummy filler. A rather expensive one too. We've been coming to Greece for years, and good tavernas are rare in touristy areas. This place is just another one of the mediocre generality food has become around here. And the quality of service is another story, I will spare you for now.

We started with timid and slow steps, but the love and support of our world has driven every year to organize ourselves better to serve the needs and requirements of our customers. The greatest achievement in our kitchen is the local meat they care and breed personally and of course the fresh vegetables cultivated my father organically cultivate that we can and we can offer you our best that gave us the place. We can not say that we have the great and most imaginative menu but with confidence and pride will offer freshly grilled meats, fresh salads, rich and tasty gyros pita and of course the most delicious pork souvlaki and gyros in the area that we make we with love ! We are open from 08.30 In the morning with coffee, freshly squeezed juices, fragrant omelets with fresh vegetables, eggs with bacon and natural yoghurt with fruit and anything else you would like for a good breakfast!
Local eatery, with affordable prices, for both food and beverages. Poppy, who speaks English, will look after you! Always a smile and a hello!
Souvlaki, and seafood dishes are 'the go' here.
House wines, beers etc all very good value. Not on the seafront, so don't expect views. Just your popular local meeting place for residents and tourists.

Right on the beach front this cafe/patisserie has the most delicious cakes and coffee - perfect for that mid-morning or mid-afternoon snack. It also serves snacks and lunches and is ideal, if, like me, you don't want something too heavy at lunchtime. Food well presented. Service is excellent - very friendly and chatty. This is a family owned business - you can see mum and dad working in the kitchen area.

We have been at this place before, because they make decent Aperol Spritz. This time we went for lunch. We ordered 4 diferent courses (4 persons) and the food was pretty mediocre. We also ordered a bottle of white wine, wich was pretty good. The waiter opened the bottle at the table, but when we ordered the second, he "opened" it behind the bar. Obviously he just refilled the bottle with the standard house wine, wich is ok, but not that good. The real shock came with the check; 93 Euros. No recite. We have been eating and drinking far better and more at other places. The situation was so surreal that we did not complain, just paid and left, and that was very stupid of us.

Welcome to the family tavern ''Giannoulis'' Our goal is to offer you a delightful experience, combining natural and fresh ingredients with the traditional island's recipes. All these are served with the Greek hospitality in the most excellent prices. We hope through our specialties to taste all the beauty of Naxo's wine, ouzo and raki.We love our country and we invite you to love it also!
Restaurant was busy every night and had a great buzzing atmosphere. The restaurant is run by two brothers who are so cute and helpful. The food is fantastic here but big shout out to the moussaka, absolutely delicious and very homely - very impressed! The local wine is lovely also and a great price. Definitely head here for a nice traditional Greek evening.
