I've been to this restaurant a number of times since I moved to St.Paul, with my latest visit being in March of 2017.
The restaurant is showing its age. The interior and exterior are worn and some parts are in disrepair. The food however is decent. They offer a buffet which overall has some good choices in it.
The war-wonton soup is very large with the 'large' being big enough to easily feed two people.
The staff are friendly.
Cleanliness is average at best. If you enter through the back door you will see boxes all over the place and you will see into the kitchen. It doesn't look super well kept.
If you want Chinese and your'e in St.Paul, this is the best of what's here.

Casual dinning, family friendly
We live locally and occasionally come here. The staff is friendly, and the service is okay overall. There was 4 of us the last visit and we ordered 2 orders of 'cactus cuts'. We had discussed the size of the order at time of ordering and whether one order was sufficient. The waitress explained that it was not enough for 4 people and made other suggestions, so when only one order arrived we were understanding. A second order was ordered and promptly arrived. The waitress was very accommodating. If you have a zest for spicy chips, then the Cactus Cuts are for you. As a snack, the orders are sufficient for 2 people. The spiciness of these potato slices may be a bit much for one person not to share. It comes with a ranch dressing dip, but we substituted one of the orders with salsa. We were seated in a quiet booth in the restaurant side of the establishment and had an enjoyable social meeting.

We stopped in with the kids to take a break from the rain while camping May long weekend. We were there around 6 pm on the Friday night. The wait staff told us to seat ourselves shortly after arriving. Our waitress was friendly and fairly attentive. The menu looked pretty diverse and fairly fancy compared to where we usually take the family to eat. Many of the items were fairly expensive. The ribs were close to $30. I would expect great quality cooked exceptionally for this price. I ordered the Greek donair, hubby ordered the fish and chips. One of the kids ordered the fish and chips and the other ordered the "seafood" salad which says its imitation crab meat in the description. The food took quite a while to arrive at the table considering how quiet the restaurant was. My donair was ok. Very little filling in it. Served with what they called a Greek salad but was mainly head lettuce with a couple peices of tomato. One small peice of cucumber and plenty of feta cheese. I expected better from a place that calls itself a Greek restaurant. My hubby and daughters fish looked like the cheap fish you can get from the grocery store.. Wasn't impressed. And small portions of fish in my husband's order. My other daughter's salad was a good portion for her.
Overall I was disappointed. Considering the place lists as the #3 restaurant in St. Paul, it wasn't very good! Wouldn't recommend it to friends.

The restaurant is opened year round. We have a full restaurant menu as well as a **Gluten Free** menu and are fully licensed. We are a family friendly business. The Tin Cup is also a great place to hold Birthdays, Retirement suppers, Anniversaries, Christmas parties, etc... We offer plated meals or a buffet style meals for large groups.
We had a nice window view and it was quiet when we went there so the atmosphere was great. The food was nicely presented.

Grabbed some Tim Hortons and even a take 10 for the gang.
Was pleased to see they made a fresh batch of coffee for the take 10 I don't buy them much but pretty sure I've seen people mix pots together to make one before.
Close to petro gas station literally steps away if you need smokes, jerky, or fuel.

We arrived on Sunday morning of the long weekend. The place was very busy! But they sat us quickly and were quick to take our drink order. We took a look at the buffet and it looked quite good! They offered croissants, another pastry, perogies with fried onions, potato wedges, French toast, pancakes and waffles with a blueberry sauce, scrambled eggs with and without cheese, mixed fruit, bacon, sausage, toast and cold cereals. We all decided to have the buffet and enjoyed it very much. The waffles were soooo good! They were refilling everything promptly. Was very happy with the quality of food and our service. The price was $14.99 per adult and $8.99 per child. Great value for your money. Would definitely recommend and can't wait to go back.

My retirement function was held here over a lunch hour. Our group of about twenty attendees had an area cordoned off for us and a waitress assigned. The service was great and the food fresh. Everyone were satisfied with their selection. The menu is elaborate enough for the size of restaurant and there was a noon hour special. I recommend the fish and chips, the burgers and the Oriental Bowl. During the summer, come in a bit early for lunch. On nice sunny days, sitting on the patio is a treat but be mindful of windy days. On occasions, the seagulls can be a bit of a pain as they are looking for a free lunch, This is a very chilled place which caters to large groups throughout the year and especially during the winter holiday season. One of my sons really likes the curly fries and says they are exceptional.

The food here is very good, and apparently the menu changes with the seasons, as much of the food is grown locally. There are some items on the menu that are a little unusual, such as the fish and beans we had. Very good. The only problem is the menu. It is not clear, what comes with what. I expected French fries with this dish. I think it mentioned them. Also with the entrees, it said soup or salad was included , with some exceptions. We had a small soup(which was very good , and not very small, ) but when we got the bill we were surprised to see we had been charged $8 each for the soup We looked at the menu again, and it said nothing beside this selection. We told the waitress, and she said, Oh yes , that is an exception. She did take it off the bill, but I expect many people don't say anything and pay it, but go away feeling shafted. The waitress was busy , but very attentive. I will try this place again..
