I went to Tom Moore's Tavern with my husband for a special occasion. I thought it would be dressier as it is advertised as elegant dining. The dress ranged for dinner between jacket and tie, to wrinkled shirt and pants to no collar at all. A little disappointing. The appetizers ranged from $19 to $33 - I had the $19 Escargot that lacked any flavor. I feared getting any of the specials because entrees ranged up to $49 and no wonder what a special could cost as there was not mention when described. Presentation is really nice for everything served and some meals are prepared table side. A very nice touch. Wine list is expensive as well. All servers dress in Bermuda shorts. The restaurant has AC, but you really couldn't feel it. Would I go back? Probably not. The service is great, but really not worth the trip for the price and I can't say that anything I had was exceptional

A good location but rather expensive beers. Outside areas are good with views over the harbour. In the town square.Hi, Thank you for taking the time to give us your review. We do have specials on offer throughout the year. Do visit us again..!!

Griffin's Restaurant and Bar offers spectacular views over the UNESCO World Heritage site of St. George's old Towne and its historic harbour. Our Pizzeria offers great value both at the bar and to take back to your room. April and November the harbour is full of yachts transitioning to and from the Caribbean to escape the storms. Our food is Italian/Mediterranean with a Caribbean flavour and we can cater to most food allergies and vegetarian diets. Our wines are carefully selected by Maître D' Bruno and he definitely knows his trade. We also boast some of the most unusual single Malt whiskies on the island. Griffin's Bar has live entertainment three (3) nights a week, with a pianist and a live band.
We were guest at hotel and generally avoid hotel restaurants. Had to go here. What a great treat we were in for! Beautiful styled place and awesome view from our window table. Server was in charge and we just relaxed and enjoyed the salads and then the special of the night. Seafood Pasta was on that night, I never order it because it is too gloppy. We both hoped it would be good and we were right. Served pipping hot and loaded with fresh clams, shrimp and scallops.I am drooling remembering it. Well timed meal, felt like we were in Italy. Would go again in a minute!
We also ordered pizza to go and it was great too.

The best fine dining in Bermuda
This wonderful restaurant in the Tuckers Point Hotel is old time wood and table clothes with truly professional waiters, The entire Hotel will be renovated and closed from January thru March. The food was wonderful but expensive as was the wine list. The service was tops and attuned to our every need. Go while it is still there

This restaurant met all of my expectations. Charming atmosphere. Wonderful view. Excellent service. And the tastiest meal I had in Bermuda - Wahoo with peas and rice, vegetables and plantain. The rum swizzle was good too.
I would go back multiple times if we had been staying on that end of the island.

Bailey’s Ice Cream parlor is one of two ice cream parlors on the island and is a welcome treat from the Bermudaful sun! Ice cream is made in house and it is conveniently situated across the street from Swizzle Inn and a short stroll from the Crystal Caves. In fact, there is a pathway from Bailey’s to the caves if you are walking and want to avoid the traffic on the main roadway. Ice cream is of good quality with the brownie special my recommendation! Will try the banana split next time! No soft serve, but there is a large variety of scooped flavors.

We are located down the steps by Burrows and Lightbourn or up the steps by Tavern on the Sea.
When you get off the ferry from the Dockyard, (or your cruise liner tender), head a few hundred yards for coffee or lunch at this enticing and quaint cafe.
The staff are helpful and the ambience is a true delight. Once you have purchased your drinks and snacks, head into the backroom which is decorated with recording devices from the 80’s.
The whole experience is enjoyable and a great place to start before exploring St Georges. Take a picture of the converted GPO telephone box outside, which has been converted into a community library.
There is free wifi in the main part of the cafe and I would recommend one of their sandwiches (which are toasted - unless you say otherwise).
Great place to visit

Had lunch at Temptations, which is conveniently located right at the bottom of the steps of St. Peter's church in the middle of town. Good sandwiches made by local grandmas, clean place, and air conditioning (important in July!) The local priest and house painter were both there enjoying lunch alongside us. Would eat there again!
