Me and my husband had a very lovely evening at this elegant restaurant. The food was quite good and we were happy to get menu translation in English. The service was friendly and the desserts were very good.

We had great fun constructing our own pizzas - you get 8 ingredients and it's just €9,70. There is a great choice of different meats, veg, cheeses and little extras like garlic and honey! The pizzas are obviously handmade and ingredients very fresh - none of them are the factory made perfect circle! We had a table at lunchtime without booking and service was very good. They spoke enough English that meant they understood we needed a doggy bag for the leftovers as the portions were very generous! (Even the lads struggled!) We wanted to eat here a second time but were only in Souillac for a few days.

This is the place to go! The food is absolutely delicious and the detail and presentation is fantastic. The service was very attentive. The view over the Treyne is so beautiful and being able to sit out on the Terrace is brilliant when the sun is shining. What a treat! Would definitely recommend eating here... and will be returning for sure!

We are so boring! Again we revisited this wonderful restaurant after a two year gap. Again.....wonderful ambience ,great food, attentive service......chickens calling, sun dappling through the overhead leaves.........you get the idea?
Always worth the trip. Go and you will not be disappointed. And you don't have to eat duck!

In a quiet square immediately behind the Grand Hotel and Tourist Office, underneath the church bell tower, this has ample Seating shaded by large umbrellas in the centre of the square where it is pleasant to sit over a meal or drink.
We had dinner here twice from a short menu on a chalkboard which they are happy to translate into English. I enjoyed the entrecote with some lovely crispy chips and salad and a melting tarte tatin with vanilla ice-cream. Not much choice of wine but the red Coteaux du Quercy was very drinkable. Friendly efficient serving team and no rush means you can really relax and soak in the ambience.
On Friday these tables are replaced by market stalls and there’s just a few tables right outside the café. Having a coffee there is a good way to experience the market and the crowds it attracts while resting your feet.
(note: they weren’t taking credit cards while we were there.)

Really nice bakery that we chanced upon as we were leaving Souillac. The pies look divine, but we had a sweet brioche loaf that was still war. Delicious.

We know this place now for a few years. And every time we pass or visit Souillac we try to find time to have lunch there. It is not five stars (you cannot expect tha for this price) but it is very good. And also quite important: the most friendly people i ever met in Souillac!
Then the price: low and so you get value for money.
This place we can recommend with all our heart.

I happened to come across this restaurant on my to see some villages in the area while was on vacation; It happen to be a pleasant surprise.
I had early dinner and took one of the formules (dinner set menu). It contained small fresh salad (very good), miso soup (ok, but not exceptional), verity of nigiri (fish were fresh) and desert (i chose green tea cake which was delicious) and cost 13 €
I also had beef and cheese yakitori which was exceptionally good.
The service was very attentive, owner and wife where friendly (not speaking English though, but I managed to order though I don't speak French at all.
To summarize - I had a pleasant surprise to find this restaurant and if you are near by it definitely worth a visit.
