A traditional Cotswold Inn with a rich history. Perfect for a Sunday roast or simply a pint of local beer.Ivy droops over the Cotswold stone of this beautiful, sixteenth century coaching inn near Cirencester. Expect proper English, seasonal pub food using the best ingredients we can find. Our lunch and supper menus are deeply rooted in everyone's favourite British classics. Tuck into Pork Belly Confit or Roasted Guinea Fowl Breast or try one of our legendary Sunday roasts which are worth the trip just for the roast alone.
A unique venue being tucked away and a very cosy friendly atmosphere, I would certainly visit again and soon as the food was well cooked and very tasty. This venue always had a good reputation with the previous owners but as soon as I heard that the Lucky Onion Group had taken over I knew things would get a makeover and standards would improve further. This was my second visit and I will be back again very soon :-)

In the historic Roman town Cirencester, the Indian Rasoi is the perfect place to experience a mixture of traditional and contemporary Indian food in a relaxed, friendly and warm environment. An utterly characteristic interior with a relaxed welcoming feel is complemented by a constant hum of conservation from happy customers and the bustle of well tuned out serving staff, darting from table to table chatting with customers and taking orders. At the Indian Rasoi we pride ourselves on being one of Cirencester's most exciting and exclusive restaurants.
Came here on a Sat night.
The restaurant was quite busy.
The service was very slow and when the food eventually turned up (after an hour) it was nothing special. After complaining about the service the waiter, who acknowledged the issue, knocked off £20.
Would not return though as the food wasn't anything to write home about!

Popped in for lunch and would recommend their two/three course special. The fish starter and salad was delicious; likewise the twice cooked shuffle. Don't be afraid to share; the salads are each unique to the dishes. mains of belly pork and venison burger were delightfully presented and extremely tasty. large portions all round mean that you won't go hungry. Courteous and efficient waiting staff

Having run Soushi as a full restaurant for the last 7 years, 2017 has brought with it some big changes. We are now predominantly a take away and catering business, providing a large selection of freshly made Japanese dishes to Cirencester and its surrounding villages and towns. We offer a Delivery service in the evenings and are available for private catering. There are a few seats in the bar on a first come first served basis for those who wish to sit in and eat.
Passing by Cirencester I decided based on reviews to try the sushi. Took some time and didn't live up to the reviews.

Michaela and Mike welcome you to the Wheatsheaf Inn at Oaksey. The menu we offer will boast fantastic, mouthwatering, homemade and locally sourced dishes. With a great choice of cask ales and fine wines, you certainly have plenty to indulge yourselves in. We look forward to welcoming you.
What a find! Tucked away up a country lane a delightful country pub. Good parking and a friendly welcome. We enjoyed the lunch menu and the fish and chips was outstanding. There is an excellent choice of local ales.Hello Thank you very much for your kind comments. Our fish and chips seem to be our most popular dish! Glad to hear you enjoyed it. Nice Local Restaurant Serving Good Value Food In A Friendly Atmosphere.
Nothing against Pizza Express but if you want REAL Italian food, this is the place. Best lasagne I have tasted, staff friendly and all food freshly cooked and reasonably priced. Excellent menu including pizza. Why go to a restaurant chain when you can go here for the real McCoy?

We visited here for a meal on a Saturday night.
They were not busy but we waited over an hour for our food.
We were seated at our table as soon as we arrived but then the service was not great.
We sat opposite an exit door to the toilets and I was so so cold.
Our food eventually arrived after about and hour and was nice and piping hot which was good, the food was also good value but due to the service and being so cold we wouldn't recommend.
If the service was improved then this would be a lovely place as it is tastefully designed in the bar and eating area.
We went out for dinner for a very delicate occasion and when a guy in the pub, who we believe was a local, started being verbally abusive for no reason at all to my partner this just topped off the evening. His friends were telling him to calm it but he didn't seem to listen !
I appreciate this guy was of no fault to the pub but he was being not nice at all, no need for this at all!

I have enjoyed a number of fine lunches at the Falcon, with well-kept and favourably priced local ales. Yesterday was not one of them, and an embarrassment to my guests who came from afar.
Busy Sunday lunch service, usual good service, well-presented but poor quality food, derisory vegetable portion and the final insult, an overcharging error on bill.
Apologies only from mine host but unfortunately it only takes one highly disappointing experience to remind me that there are other establishments that are closer to home and trying harder.

Small cafe in a side street in Cirencester. Really busy and most of the things are home made mentioned in other reviews but deserves a review of its own
This is an attractive little cafe that has extended Seating in a fully covered area that used to be outside. Cakes are home made and delicious. You can also gain entry straight from the museum.Jacks is certainly the cafe to head for when you visit Cirencester. Thank you for your review and hope to see you again soon.

A unique sports bar & restaurant in a unique setting offering relaxed family dining with stunning lakeside views.
Came here for dinner as group of 4 on 30th Dec and were surprised how quiet it was. It was terrible weather so that probably put people off going out. We booked the table for 7pm, and a few other tables were busy then, but...MoreThank You so much for taking the time to write us a review. We really appreciate feedback from our customers. I will pass on your comments to our Lakeside team. We hope you visit us again during the summer. Kind Regards, Kay
