I mean, the food is actually good (had nice pasta and steak), but I did not find it so amazing to deserve more than 3 stars. I came here because of the excellent reviews, but I have not found what expected honestly.. In addition, the place itself is nothing special, just an old italian farm with space outside for tables; there is no proper garden, just a lot of "space".
Do not get me wrong: the experience was overall nice, but I struggled in finding the expected excellence in this agriturismo.

A great restaurant that serves fresh fish cooked in a simple yet interesting way. Davide, the owner, will for sure make you feel very welcome and part of the family. Great home-made pizza bianca and bread will accompany your meal...just don't eat too much of it as you might not have enough room for the wonderful fish pastas and mains. In summer they also have a Terrace where at dusk they serve aperitifs with a fish platter and some chilled out music... Very romantic!

A tremendous, fantastic experience which I hope to live again: stunned and truly satisfied, this is my first impression of this little diamond in the Ancona's countryside.
It is not easy to get to the restaurant, and it is not easy to spot it from the road: you will not cross path with it unless you really look for it, and it is all worth it.
Elegance, sobriety, professionalism, courtesy, and cooking preciousness are the key words for the evening. The cherant to high levels, and made our dinner a special one.
The chef was a master in both fish and meat: I had fish, while my girlfriend took meat, and we were both ecstatic. The flavors were superbly combined to make an orchestrated symphony in the mouth, while chewing such a quality of food. The list of wines you can chose from is very vast, and I could have gotten lost, hadn't I asked for suggestions. he Deserts are a point of high value for this restaurant. It has a professional chocolate lab, which produces some of the best tasting chocolate I have (ever) had. Do ask the waitress for it, or you'd miss on something very special. However, keep in mind that this is a very high level restaurant, and I'd bet nothing is less than perfect.
Th atmosphere is the most appropriate one for special occasion: large tables are well separated from one another, while a diffused soft music sings in the background. A wooden floor with many vintage-looking pieces of design on the walls will complete the magical setting of the night.
I am surprised it has not gotten Michelin stars (yet), and I look forward to see it getting one.
Prices reflect the quality of serving, food, and place. However, they are also less costly than what you would get if you were in the center of larger cities.

Closed on Sunday.
Fresh fish, traditional dishes. Do not expect fancy presentation and elaborate cousine. Vittorio, the host, is lively, entertaining and can communicate effectively in English
Be sure to book a table in advance: this venue is always busy and only serves two sittings at lunch and dinner.

We had great food on a sunday afternoon in a restaurant filled only with local Italians. The fish and mussels were delicious and the atmosphere charming. All the waiters were friendly and helpful appears to be family run. Highly recommend if you want to take in local food and people.

On a balmy evening go for the Terrace. It's modern decor and glass railing are very inviting as obviously are the views. Fair prices for well prepared (for palate and eyes) food beyond the usual Italian seaside standards. Open also on Monday evenings when most places close for weekly rest.

Whilst waiting for the restaurant to open we enjoyed a drink on the totally deserted beach below ... then came up and enjoyed a wonderful meal with friendly and efficient service overlooking the Adriatic.
Shared a starter of massive and very tasty local mussels served in a light broth ... main course of well cooked pasta with shellfish for her ... an absolutely brilliant, tasty seafood risotto for me. Really exceptional!
Friendly service and a nicely decorated deck overlooking the sea. All in all a wonderful evening.

Buzzing restaurant that is definitely one of the best spots in town.
Swift, friendly service throughout, with a genuine smile.
Prices pretty much on a par with other venues at this level.
Standout element of an enjoyable meal were the desserts...up there with the best and most original I have ever had in Italy.
Would definitely head back when next in town.

We had two lunches here on successive days. We had the Completo seafood starter and pizzas one day, next day melon and parma ham followed by pasta dishes. Tiramisu followed. All food very good. We were there on quiet days and the service was friendly and at the speed we wanted, there was a mistake with our order one day but this was quickly corrected.

La Taverna is very centrally located and has a big Terrace in the main square of town, which is perfect for people-watching. We even saw two quite spectacular Performances of street- acrobats right from our table. Our waitress was very friendly and helpful and spoke excellent English. We had marinated anchovies as antipasto, a pasta with fish, capers, olives and fennel (I forgot the name) and tataki di tonno con sesamo. All were very tasty. And our desserts were so delicious that we came back for them the next day: sorbet de limone, and a mousse of honey with pistacchio and pine nuts, yummie! Highly recommended, this place.
