Visited this place for a midday coffee and ended up eating a grilled Sandwich, a walnut flake topped doughnut and falafel Sandwich. The staff were very friendly, the food good and service fast.
The only drawback were a couple of house flies hovering around creating nuisance in spite of the cleaning staff doing their job well.

Love coming to this place. The menu selection has something for everybody. If they don't make it, it doesn't exist (LOL). Food is good quality and right price. Staff is friendly and helpful. They do tend to be long waiting for your food, but not what I would consider a major issue.

We stayed one night before going to the airport. The rooms are very nice and clean. Much better than any other hotel I've been to on Oman.
Good:
* clean and fresh rooms
* good WiFi connection
* location is great
* prices
Bad:
* breakfast was random. A lot of things that wasn't good
* WiFi only last for 24 hours then you need to get more from the reception

A Zanzibari Omani friend of ours took us to this restaurant (as we had been asking for Zanzibari food) and this was an excellent choice. The food is served cafeteria style, with a long counter of food and a server behind the counter dishing out whatever selections you make. There were some delicious stews such as the Calamari stew, the Minnow Stew and the Spinach in Coconut. All delicious. There was a good selection of rices including coconut rice as well as a couple of nice puddings my favourite being the plantain stewed in coconut milk. We loved it all.
Mind you, this is not diet food!
the restaurant is clean and the service pleasant and cost us 13 Omani Rials (around $35 for 6 people.
If you're looking for Zanzibari-Omani food, visit this place.
(It might be hard to find: it is right opposite the Vocation Training Insitute on Kharais Road in Seeb)

Had dinner here before taking a flight to India. Ordered Idli Wada Combo and a Plain Dosa to avoid eating bland & cold airline food. To be honest the food was good. Finished off with a coffee. The place was surprisingly crowded especially with South Asian Fliers. Took about 10 minutes in the queue to reach the billing counter and another 10mts for the food to arrive.
If a Pax has 30mts before the boarding call - check out here for warm food.

Qibara is a celebration of the old times when things were simple, healthy and affordable. Our menu takes its inspiration from Omani and other cuisines around the world, with an intention to bring back the old-time flavours using both traditional and modern cooking techniques. At Qibara, we pride ourselves on using only the finest and freshest ingredients to prepare our dishes - the chicken we use is A’Saffa, our juices are cold-pressed and our breads are baked in-house to name a few. The food we serve comes from a well equipped state of the art 5 star kitchen and we use ultra filtered PH balanced water using specialised equipiment for all our cooking. We are also proud to serve our food with no added chemicals, ajinomoto and extra food colouring. The warm and welcoming interiors are home to a collection of painstakingly sourced original artefacts, posters and photos invoking the nostalgia of a bygone era. We look forward to serving you...
Looking somewhere nice and not expensive to eat we managed to get to Qibara Restaurant. And glad we did - not also they have omani traditional dishes but also from around the world particular dishes without entering the "fast-food" concept wich was perfect. And more then reasonable prices for it - definetly valu for money here. Give it a go.

Bar B Q Tonight offers superior barbecue (BBQ) and Dishes from Pakistan. The Best Restaurant in town with lavish buffet. Seeb, Muscat, Oman.
A pleasant surprise to have Bar B Que Tonight in curry center Mascut. Good variety of dishes and live BBQ. Staff was courteous and professional. They tried to serve fresh BBQ to almost all tables. Food taste was true to type like this chain offers in Karachi and Lahore. Prices are okay. It’s in City Center Hotel close to City Center Mall.

Mr. Dwich – a Muscat based Sandwich shop - started operation in January 2018 after being just an imaginative thought for years. All you need to know right now is that it is not your ordinary Sandwich shop. Specialized in carefully thought through Melts, Rolls, Burgers and Lemonades and a number of side dishes
This isn't your normal burgers/sandwiches place. Their sandwiches are really good and fresh.
My favorite Sandwich was the beef brisket. The beef taste really good and the sauces compliment it.
Second favorite is the burger, and then the fried chicken Sandwich.
Haven't tried the melts but planning to do on my next visit.
