What an amazing little restaurant this is.
Tucked away off the main street, though well signposted, you must visit if you're near Beer and you love good food.
We had a shared taster starter, so many flavours, a treat to the tongue.
The mains, plaice and hake, were equally stunning, all accompanied by a well chosen, reasonably priced wine. Service by the lovely Theresa, was impeccable. Best meal we've had in ages.

We visited this restaurant on Easter Sunday after travelling to Seaton from Coleton.
by ttram. We enjoyed whitebait, and also cod and chips, as well as a child’s sausage and chips. The restauarant was obviously popular and the staff were efficient and welcoming. All the meals were well presented and tasted delicious. I would recommend this restauarant to anyone i. the area.

Veggie, vegan & gluten free fully licensed restaurant , arts cafe & guest house
Wandering around Axmouth and Seaton we were not impressed with the menus we saw, so decided on a vegetarian meal. My partner had been to this cafe before, and provided it was open we decided we would have lunch there.
I was very surprised by the scope of the menu, with a wide variety of dishes available.
I chose the cream of beetroot soup followed by stuffed mushroom with sweet potatoes, and just about managed to clean the plates.
My partner had the linguine and was very happy with it.
The food was impressive, the cost was very reasonable, and the service excellent.

Ordered a takeaway on Saturday eve and we were really looking forwards to it. Sadly when we tried it we were instantly disappointed yet we hoped it would get better. I didn't. The meat was bland and tasteless the rice was stodgy. I honestly think mine was leftovers from someone else's plate it was awful and we both had bad belly problems all day Sunday. I would avoid this place at all costs. It's expensive and poor quality and chances are it will make you ill

Situated on the High Street (Fore Street) in Beer, Gina's Restaurant serves Italian and Thai cuisine. The members of staff were friendly and welcoming whilst the service was quick and efficient. The menu is not extensive but offers a good choice for a range of tastes. The food was plentiful, well cooked and delicious.

Our search for the perfect steak starts in the West Country. This is where our premium grade beef is reared according to rigorous animal welfare and farming practices. Our beef is sourced from our local butcher who hand cuts the beef to exacting standards. The meat is also hung on the bone for Seven days in special maturation chilling rooms before being further matured off the bone for 21 days. Hence the term 28 day aged beef. It is this together with the fact that our cattle are prominently grass fed that makes our steaks so tender and delicious. We are not just about premium steak. We also offer handmade premium Steak burgers, Ribs, Chicken as well as daily specials which include locally caught fish.

I witnessed the owner being soo rude twice to 2 aged customers. Apparently according to villagers we met, the owner is allegedly actively disliked in the village and known for being difficult and rude . What a shame. The young staff were very good btw.

We visited in Sept while on holiday. This is a lovely looking place and we both had a delicious lunch, but the service was very offhand.
The main problem was that the next table had small dogs with them which were running all over the (fabric covered) chairs and putting their paws on the table. I was appalled that customers would let them do this, but even more so that the staff had no problem with it at all.
We are great dog-lovers and always appreciate places which make them welcome but this is really going too far. It made me wonder how good the hygiene was in general if this did not worry them, so we would not return.

Visited here on Feb 23rd after being recommended by locals in The Vault nearby! Friendly welcome and real ale which my son and I like ( only thing was nothing local , ales from Scotland ? Lots of very good Breweries local to here would have been better ) . We had a drink then ordered from the menu . Not a huge one but excellent choice . Food arrived in good time and was excellent ! Two of the party had sweets , also excellent .
As we had enjoyed ourselves so much we decided to return on Saturday night . We arrived around 8 o'clock to find the pub full ! Asked if we could get a table and waitress very kindly found us one in less than 5 minutes . Same again , lovely beer , superb food , excellent service from every member of staff . We would highly recommend this pub but check first for a table just in case . We will be visiting Seaton again in the near future and will definitely be calling in to The Malt House
