The restaurant was very busy for late afternoon after our visit around the castle. The menu was varied from sandwiches to home-made pies. Drinks ran from cups of tea to specialist minerals. My husband went for the ham & cheese cold Sandwich and I went for their home-made coffee cake with my drink. The prices were reasonable for the type of establishment. Would recommend.

This was my first visit to lovely Seahouses, and to the Black Swan, but will certainly not be my last!
Our meal was absolutely delicious - generous helpings of beautifully-cooked and presented food.
Service was unobtrusively attentive, efficient and friendly. Food and wine were very reasonably-priced for such a high-quality meal in warm, comfortable and welcoming surroundings.
After we had eaten, we moved through to the bar area, and found the atmosphere there cosy, relaxed and friendly. We loved the extensive choice of music available on the jukebox.
Already looking forward to my next visit - I would highly-recommend!

We visit this restaurant on New Year’s Eve, as you would expect the place was very busy. Despite this we really enjoyed our visit the staff were very friendly and welcoming and the food was second to none. I would thoroughly recommend a visit.

A traditional coaching inn, steeped in history, the Craster Arms has much to offer. Our bar offers a range of local and continental beers along with a selection of fine wines, providing the perfect accompaniment to a delicious meal prepared by our talented kitchen brigade.
Friendly welcome from extremely helpful staff, dog friendly, gorgeous food (make sure you’re hungry) and exceptional value for money. Intended on going for 3 course meal but only managed 1st 2 courses so sampled the extensive gin list instead, would highly recommend this pub, Phil...MoreMany thanks for the review and recommendation. We're pleased to hear you enjoyed dining and drinking with us, and that you appreciated both your meals and our gin selection

Pinnacles Famous Restaurant specialises in fish and chips, but also offers healthy salads, pasta dishes and children's meals. Pinnacles has a very friendly atmosphere with efficient and welcoming staff and celebrity chefs 'The Hairy Bikers' are on record as nominating Pinnacles as their favourite fish and chips. Come and try our new hand boned fish, cooked in a special batter that is simply delicious with our superb chips. Open all year round, there is a generous takeaway section and a separate, newly refurbished restaurant with enough Seating for large groups. We have been in business for over twenty years and look forward to welcoming you to our lovely, newly refurbished restaurant in Seahouses. Opening times: 11am to 7.00pm/9.00pm every day from 1st March to 30th September. From 1st October to 28th February the hours will vary. All published times and dates are a general guide only, so please phone the restaurant for details.
Whether eaten in (basic but clean, tidy, well-spaced tables) or out with the local seagulls ... Pinnacles is just tops. We came here on recommendation (having looked at the other two in town - one was closing and other - with hardly anyone in - barely acknowledged us or showed interest). So Pinnacles it was. Fabulous North-East accents welcomed us like long lost friends. Two great plates of haddock, chips, mushy peas & a pot of tea each, came within minutes. "would you like any sauces? One or two dishes?" So two dishes of tartare and two of tomato ketchup it was. Fabulous - coastal fish & chips at its very best. Pinnacles it was...Pinnacles it will always be. Note: Last orders at 5pm.

Great pub food, usually busy - a good sign, good service and nice views over the harbour. The Bamburgh Castle is a bit more modern and less traditional than most of Seahouses pubs but it's none the worse for it and is well worth a...MoreAh, thank you for leaving this great review! A new extension to an old hotel.
This is a great restaurant. Wonderful scallops and lemon sole. Please bear in mind that this is Northumbria and the portions are rather large. Staff are friendly but don’t know much about the dishes - bit more training needed! Will definitely return.

Best bar in Seahouses by a country (or coastal?) mile. Best choice of beers (loads) and other drinks at reasonable prices. Loads of fishing memorabilia. Plenty of staff (some could be happier!), open fire, small snug, sea view beer garden.
Unusually quiet on Good Friday but perhaps rain and 3 degrees Celsius had a lot to answer for!

Have been many times over the years but not often recently . Notice a marked deterioration in quality and quantity. Steak good, wine good but fries horrid, frozen prepacked, and vegetables nearly non existent. Two slices of carrot and a small floret each of broccoli and cauliflower. Bill arrived the minute we said we wanted nothing else, despite there being empty tables. Used to be known for generous portions. First time ever eaten a main course and not been full.
