It was a bit chilly and we were visiting Christmas Markets in Prague. This was when we came across Wolfgang Pizza. Normally we would not eat pizza when traveling out of the US, but there were many many locals eating here. The place was busy and we had a short wait for a table. The pizza was excellent, very fresh. Service was friendly and efficient, and we were not rushed at all.
It was a great place for a good lunch and for us to warm up.

A few kilometers from Prague is this from outside inobtrusive restaurant. But when you enter - the first moment - wonderful atmosphere of old good times.
Then friendly staff with a smile in the face and interesting menu card.
But don't mis the tap! They have changing repertoire of beer - and my friend who accompanied me there (real beer lover) was like in the Heaven - tasting small Breweries products on really high lrvel.
And one thing to remember - cost of meal and beer specials is really affordable.

At first glance the ambitious meny makes you expecting very or even excellent food, but result is not in level of the menu.
Also variation of the menu is limited, after 4 days you are bored with same same.
Service is lacking of proffesionalism, waiter could not open a bottle of vine, he brook the cork and he could not understand why we did not accept the vine with cork in the vine....he even tried to serve the broken cork bottle to us next day!!!
Anyway fodd tasted quite ok for what you paid.

Quite cheap place near highway where you can have a good fish or some traditional Czech cuisine. It's also possible to sit outside during sunny weather.
If you are hungry and you don't want to spent too much money for OMV baguettes on your journey to/from Prague.. This is the place, where you should be.

We stopped to wait for a friend and have a beer. Once finding he was going to be late decided to eat based on the food we saw being delivered to tables! We ordered a plate of french fries which were excellent, fresh, hot, not-greasy. My wife ordered the Margarita Pizza while I went with the Chicken Cutlet and Boiled potatoes.They were both excellent and the potatoes were lathered in butter (even better!!) The service was good, efficient, and friendly. Ask for non-smoking which is a glass enclosed area and very relaxing. A good experience nad inexpensive to boot!

I have been there several times, the beer is excellent and it is made in the brewery that operates this restaurant. There s also local distillery Kacovka, they make delicious mead and various spirits from natural ingredients only, the mead is also sold in the restaurant. They also sell beer in PET bottles.
The food is very good, generous portions for reasonable prices. In the summer they have excellent ice cream.
