Hard to decide what to choose, from such a great menu. Really lovely service and very comfortable for someone eating alone. Started with Scallops, Duck was perfectly cooked and delicious, and couldn't pass the rhubarb crumble to finish. Great wine selection, to compliment the beautiful food. Highly recommend this restaurant.

Wholly Cow is located at 2/39 First Avenue in sunny Sawtell NSW. We are open every day, serving great coffee and fresh burgers. Our coffee is fair trade and organic, roasted by the wonderful Amelia Franklin in Bellingen. All the burgers are made to order, using delicious homemade tomato relish and mayo, local veggies and meat. The burger buns are organic sourdough from the talented team at k’pane Artisan Bakery. We also have a daily selection of pastries and sweet treats from k’pane.Come in and try our coffee and burgers – we have many delicious choices from good old fashioned burgers with the lot (and of course beetroot) as well as great vegetarian burgers.
Had the Spicy Bird Gourmet Burger this time.
Came with chicken schnitzel, cheese, lettuce, tomato, onion, coriander, mayo and chilli sauce. Pretty sure it was $12.50 and pretty good value I thought.
Most burgers $10-$13.50.
Open from 7 am.
Definitely worth a visit when in the area.

TREEO is open 7 days, serving an extensive all day breakfast menu, lunch & dinner. We serve delicious coffee from esteemed roasters Will&Co.
Have reviewed before and was in Sawtell recently and popped in for brekky.
Went with the Sticky Date Pancakes which according to the menu came with medjool date pancakes, salted caramel and vanilla sauce, torched bananas, pretzel crumble and vanilla bean ice cream. $17.50.
Had to write all that down to hopefully get it right.
For me it certainly sounded exotic and yummy and it was.
I’m not usually a pancake person but after Reading that description on the menu I couldn’t resit and I’m glad I didn’t.
They seemed to have about 20 breakfast items which are available all day.
Experienced a nice atmosphere and nice friendly service.
If in SawtelI I believe it’s definitely worth a visit.

Restaurant and bar with a Japanese menu. Extensive selection of premium spirits, 3 premium beers on tap, wines by the glass, cocktails and sake. Intimate and atmospheric setting with a homely attitude to service and an emphasis on bringing clear and distinctive flavours to the dishes. Kimono is a unique blend of old and new, country and metropolitan, restaurant and bar.
As local residents who have enjoyed the old Kimono restaurant we returned for a special anniversary dinner . The menu has been cut by 90 % and prices for a few “Tapas” ( yes Spanish Japanese ) so called meals are extremely overpriced and increased 100 % . If your looking for overpriced snacks and a beer this is the place , but if your looking for a Japanese meal in Coffs Harbour look else where . Staff are friendly and professional but are serving up a second rate product .

Great start to a weeks holiday...long line to order which obviously means great food. 20 minute wait which for the amount of people more than acceptable.
Family pack amazing combination of crumbed prawns, whiting, battered fish, calamari, hot crunchy chips all quickly devoured. Some of the best I have had in a long time.

This would have to be the most consistent restaurant I have ever experienced. We have been coming here annually for 4 years and the quality, taste, service and price are outstanding. We had extra guests who were not booked for and nothing was too much trouble to fit them at our table of 17. Great night.

Sawtell is not short on cafes and I’ve tried a couple over the years. Split makes good food. The service is very good and obliging. The cafe was full but they found us a table efficiently. We ordered Gado Gado and the prawn Sandwich. Both were good. We tried their detox juice which was also really good. As far as cafes go, this is very good.

Great way to start my holiday..early morning walk then a great coffee and wonderful view.
Staff have been nothing but friendly, bacon and eggs rolls on Turkish bread was a massive hit with our kids.
Basic menu but enough choices.
Tables , chairs and umbrellas provided. As per notice it is running as a take away outlet currently..so no table service.
Bikes and surfboards for hire as well.
This is my first visit here but thoroughly enjoy the simplicity and location...
