The restaurant has an 80 seats capacity, and bears the elegant touch of the entire complex. The historical context where the building is placed, the furniture and art objects, the special stained glass, all together confer a show of sophistication where the guests can taste special dishes. The menu selection is very wide, offering both Romanian and international specialities, prepared by renowned chefs. The restaurant is the perfect choice for organizing events, business or festive, because of its unique scenery but also because of the special dishes, mise en place and excellent services offered.

It was a pleasure to eat at one of the few places in Satu Mare which still provides white linen table clothes & napkins! The decor lends itself nicely to the eating experience it has to offer.
Both our meal & quality of service were noteworthy.

If you did not know it was there, you would almost certainly walk past it, the pub is located in a quite dark side street, and from street level you cannot appreciate what it is like. You go through the main door then down some stairs to the pub. I can definitely endorse the previous positive reviews - service was good, more than enough English is spoken, and the food was very good - tasty and plentiful. Also a good choice of drinks. Highly recommended.

The ‘’coffee house & wine bar ‘’concept is totally new in the city and in Romania as well. It is an attempt to reinvent the coffee shop concept by increasing its functionality as an all day opened establishment. CRUSH became the place where people can enjoy a cup of coffee in the morning and glass of quality wine in the evening. Besides serving the targeted market, this business model aimed to spread the coffee and wine culture in the city
The atmosphere is very warm and friendly, but at the same time the service quality is on the top level. The great choise of wines and coffee, will surpise everyone. Suggest everyone, who comes to visit Satu Mare, have a chance to share a glass a wine.

In a hot Sunday we had an excellent lunch: four courses. It have had with an extreme rich starter, after we had an excellent chicken soup (Transylvanian style -with noodle, carrots and chicken meat); the main course: French fries and Parisian schnitzel with coleslaw and tomatoes; as dessert: three kind of ice cream Parfait: chocolate with nuts, caramel and forest berrie! All was excellent, helpful, good, see far that it is good service. The atmosphere was improved by a big fan that it cools with water! The food was fresh and tasteful. I recommend this restaurant.

In the heart of Satu Mare (not far from the hotel Astoria we stayed) we have found this hidden restaurant. Located in a basement and well decorated as an old inn, this restaurant offers a wide variety of traditional Romanian food.
We have ordered
*) "Mameliga cu Brenze de Burduf" which is a traditional dish made from boiled ground corn with special Burduf cheeze & creem,
*) "Chorba cuperishuara" which is a soup with meet balls
*) Grill
All dished were great, the service was good and the price (with drinks) was about 20US$ for both of us.
We warmly recommend the place
*** I'm sure I've mistakes in spelling & saying the Romanian dishes names.

Restaurant Bistro-Pizzerie,
Great for people watching! Decent food! Unfortunately the wait staff is mediocre. Seems this is pervasive throughout most of Romania! They don't seem to understand they will be tipped in accordance to how they make the experience pleasant. Their demeanor is as if customers are an inconvenience.

Being a huge fan of gelato I couldn't leave Satu Mare without tasting gelato from here. It was really the best gelato ever. It took me a while to decide what should I taste first because everything looked so delicious. I finally had Cioco Raffy and it was divine. I can't wait to go back there <3
