The full name is Bonolakshmi Unmesh Society. The location is around 10km away from Bolpur. It is little difficult to find this place as there is no sign board on main road.
They have boarding facilities. For boarding guest they serve breakfast, lunch and dinner. But for outside guest they only serve lunch. It is always good to inform them in advance about the lunch booking.
By Rs100 one can get a veg thali. Fish and meat also can be ordered. Most of the food prepared by local village women and the food is really testy and cheap.
They also have a shop from where you can buy handloom dresses. Pickles and other home made food are also available there.

First of all Sukuntala village resort food serving and management team.
Rangamatir deshe, matir thalai awesome homely food.It is a resort which serves food to outsiders as well. Nice, down to earth behaved staffs. You will have to order a veg thali or veg food set for Rs. 100/- (see attached picture), also you can add others dishes like chicken, mutton, fishes. Each item is very very tasty here. They try to serve with care and homely touch.
It is located at Sonajhuri, Khoai. Very near to the haat area. You will also get to few bauls here with their strings. In weekends when there have rush, then maybe it would be a bit difficult to get food and Seating but am sure you will visit there again at next visit.

Kasahara serves probably the best variety in Santiniketan. Instead of writing magical lines I am trying to supply some precise info about the place. It is inside Sangeet bhaban gate, go straight then right turn to find it.
I myself tasted the following dishes: Spanish omlet with cheese, Omlet with masala tomato and cheese, Chicken Sandwich chicken Sandwich with cheese, Chicken hot n sour soup, Alu paratha, Mixed noodles, Egg fried rice, Mixed fried rice, Garlic chicken, Chicken manchurian, Chicken Kasha, Puri sabji, French toast with butter etc.
Apart from chicken manchurian, all other was quite good. Kasahara is more like a cafe where you can spend long time sitting and chatting. Smoking is allowed inside. An order Delivery takes time as the place is crowded most the time. Closing time is 10pm. The interior and the ambience is nice and peaceful. Packing and parcel is available.
Without eating at Kasahara, Santiniketan visit should be incomplete. Strongly recommended.

On 30th June we three friends visited Shantiniketan. After a 4 hours drive we reached there at 1.30 p.m. The resort is in the Ilambazar Road & just on the junction road to enter into the Bolpur town. We took one AC Cottage & it was just beautiful. There were 2 rooms , one with two double bedded and another with a sofa with centre table. Room service was very good. The ambience of the restaurant was outstanding. The food was just superb. We enjoyed a lot there.

The ambiance, quality of food, and the service makes this place an unique dine experience in town. There are lots of options to choose from Indian, Oriental, Tandoori. It's a comfortable and cozy place to hang out with family and friends. The view of the landscaped Gardens outside the restaurant adds special charm to this place.
