I can't really address this one... It does give good food but it's slightly more expensive than others. You can find unconventional dishes which are not that frequent in the area. It doesn't have the sea view but it's cooler due to treas all around. You would expect a more refined restaurant and a cheaper menu in according to the place and the service (lots of occasional waitresses). I think I wouldn't go again because I can't really find a reason to go...

We had lunch outside on the veranda. The food was mediocre, nothing special. Antipasti were ok, cold cuts. Pasta was nearly uncooked. The grilled fish was good. It was pricey for what it was. Staff was friendly. Would not return.

This place is our latest favourite place.
for years we have always driven past it.
this easter we stopped.
And had the full anti pasti, prima, second, gelati experience.
Superb and tasty courses, all straight from the sea, or the fields nearby.
excellent food. Charming service. Brilliant value. 50 euros for 2 adults and 2 kids, inc drinks.
will be coming back here every sunday from now on. If you read this review and drop by then, we are the only people to have an english number plated golf car in the car park. say hello.

Last friday(30.09.16) we enjoyed having lunch at the Risorante Re Sole.
The restauant is beautiful and has a lovely Terrace with surrounding garden.
When driving from Leuca to Gagliano del Capo it is located on the right hand side, there is a signpost.
We were the only guests, as it is off-season. The atmosphere was quiet and relaxed and we very much enjoyed the entertaining conversation with Luigi, the owner.
The food was extremely delicious. It was perfection based on the best local produce, cooked with passion and skill. Everything homemade. We can imagine how big the efforts are as we too are passionate cooks at home.
We had
Service was very good, very friendly and attentive.
A great thank you to our host Luigi and to his son for a wonderful and memorable lunch!
Grazie mille e arrivederci!

Went here last night with my partner and family. Amazing location which faces the sea..the restaurant if fairly big and the view is amazing! You better book as it gets very busy(also if you'd like to seat on the terrace). Big seafood menù and also lots of pizzas. We had 4 different pizzas and each one was delicious. Friendly and very quick service..nice and cool breeze inside the reataurant..only negative point: no mosquito nets or candles,so either get some spray or prepear to get bitten!
Such a nice experience overall, must go!

This is a seafood restaurant and the fish is fresh. The staff are friendly, but little English is spoken so you may need a phrase book or google translate. We had a great meal and it was a reasonable price. The friendly young staff made our visit very pleasant and I am sure we will be back.

The restaurant serves all of Salento's most-loved fish and seafood dishes. Meals are served in the inside dining room, by the pool, or on the Terrace directly above the sea. It is featured in all of the most reputable gastronomic guides -Michelin too-.
Bad, overcooked food. When you have a remark, the reaction is outrageous: "we hope you won't return as a client". Never been treated like in this 'restaurant'. WARNING: don't go here for dinner.Vffanc...o Morto di Fame, Vichingo del Ca..zo

We stayed for a week at Agriturismo Serine and had a great time. The room was very comfortable and spacious, the restaurant was always delicious, the agriturismo was a charming establishment and the location was very convenient for spending days at the beach. The owners too were very helpful. Overall I'd have to say the highlight was the food - superb fresh ingredients cooked in a number of imaginative and delicious ways to show off the best of local produce.

Salento is not an area reknowned for its meat, that is fine,as the local cuisine can make up for that no prob, but after several months of fish and seafood and fresh cheeses, a nice steak is surely appreciated. we found the braceria by word of mouth and rightly so. The place was first a butcher shop and still is on one half of the building.
I had a strip steak with french herbed butter, which was very tasty, but my husband's burger really caught my attention. The perfect combo of Italian and American. The bun was fresh and puffy, but not prefab and the fries were great. The restaurant is geared towards a younger crowd but that was half the fun. The prices were fair, about 35 euro for two.
WE went back the next days for some BBQ meat and it was all very good. We will return!

The owner of this restaurant is very friendly, the white wine good, the vegetable starter absolutely delicious 5 out of 5 but the pasta dish I had was awful.
We were so pleased to find this little place at first, though there were not many customers the atmosphere was relaxed and friendly. We asked for a fruity wine and the owner very kindly opened a bottle to let us taste, before we agreed to order. He recommended the delicious vegetable starter and then we ordered pasta dishes, thinking they would be as tasty as the starter. My husbands ordered parmigiana di Melanzane which he said was okay but I ordered the tomato pasta with ricotta which I found inedible. The pasta was over cooked, the ricotta forte was sour and the tomato sauce was disgusting, The only dish they serve for dessert is ice cream. If I had judged this restaurant by the starter dish and friendliness I would have given it a 5 but if judged on the pasta dish it would be a 1, so I felt it was only fair to offer a 3 and warn anyone against ordering pasta.
