We chose this restaurant on it's no 1 trip advisor rating...very dissapointed. The food was adequate, but not by any stretch of the imagination special. It was more expensive than other (just as underwhelming) restaurants we have eaten at in the town. They even charged us for our bread here. Definitely not worth the number one rating.

Just a quick visit to this bar following recommendations on TA. Not disappointed at all only had tapas with friends and a few glasses of wine.
Arrived early and the place was being cleaned it's spotless anyhow. Will be back to this place staff friendly and helpful. Good wine and food equal to some good places in Santander and Bilbao at a fraction of the cost.

We had a really good Cantabrian meal in this simple red-checked tablecloth, paper napkin tavern up some concrete steps on a cold rainy May evening. The menu del dia seemed the best bet with a half dozen options for each of the two main courses: a la carte options were available. Starters were anchovies with succulent roasted red peppers and a dozen thumbnail-sized, uncommonly tender mussels, in a garlicky, winey broth that we fought over to sop up with the excellent bread . We both had the lamb chops, which in fact were a pile of delicate pencil-thin ribs with the attached morsel of loin from a very young animal, flash fried. Although done to well, the meat was remarkably tender. The ubiquitous fries accompanied the lamb. Dessert was a flan and rather liquid rice pudding, both okay enough. The 18 € per person price included a very decent young Rioja, making the evening a winner.

My wife and I ate here twice during our stay in San Vicente. One time we sat at the bar and the other in the main restaurant. Both times the service was friendly and efficient and we thoroughly enjoyed our raciones of delicious fried squid, razor clams and aged cheese. In the restaurant my wife had the hake, which was beautifully cooked, and I had the sirloin steak. Also well cooked.
They have a good selection of wine by the glass.

Bar, restaurant, rations, fish, meat. Offer seasonal, possibility of half portions for children. Value adjusted price, Terrace with sea views, good atmosphere. Improved team.
We stopped at this town while travelling from Bilbao to Picos de Europa. Nice non-touristy coastal town. Good friendly local service in the restaurant. We had the seafood platter for E18 per person and it was a large plateful of lovely tasty seafood. Grilled jumbo prawns. Half a small lobster. Razor clams. Normal clams. Several types of fish. A whole crab. It was great. Fingers get messy but worth it. Nice bottle of wine included too.

I don't have enough superlatives to describe this place. The food was exceptional, the setting stunning and the staff superb. One of the best dinning experiences I've ever had.

We rarely go to the same restaurant twice when on holiday, but Zarabanda was so good that we went there on all three nights we were in San Vicente. We've been eating seafood platters for 45 years, but the Mariscada was about the best we've ever had anywhere. It was exceptional quality and excellent value. An added bonus for non-Spaniards is that they opened at 19.00.

This was a cracking authentic traditional Spanish restaurant we found on the very popular street Calle Londres which is a street packed with pubs, bars and restaurants.
As it was a roasting hot afternoon we decided to go into here as it had a lovely sunny Terrace.
We were their first customers so we more or less had the place to ourselves.
The restaurant itself is superb with a really nice interior with great furnishings and superb decor and spotlessly clean with plenty of Seating options both inside and out.
As we had a big day planned we decided to just have to cola each and this was served iced cold and accompanied with a bowl of crisps and we just chilled out in this fantastic friendly restaurant.
We moved on after our delicious thirst quenching soft drink but had a good time in here.
Very easy to locate on Calle Londres on the same street as The Yorkshire Pride 2 and The Stretford End Pub.
A superb restaurant and well worth a visit.

We arrived to San Vicente after a long driving from the Picos De Europa reservation (from Fuente De). We travelled around their sea shore and later parked our car and went to visit the port. After few restaurant checking we found this restaurant by their big note of the menu of the day. This menu allow the customer to enjoy several dishes in a low price.
We were welcomed nicely and ordered our dishes.
The service came quickly and the food was very good.
Their desserts were not good (especially the ice cream)
Very recommended
