A very quiet and pretty restaurant, where you could taste the most interesting products from Almeria. We used to open from March to middle of October.
If you are looking for an elegant place to have a lunch or a dinner this is probably one of the places to choose in the Gata Cape (Cabo de Gata, Southern Spain).
The facts are:
-nice restaurant about 10 tables
-helpful and kind staff that know about the wines served and also the food.
-food is good. Rices are good, good quality and several options. However, if you come from a place that rice is typical, you can find it not excellent.
-desserts are outstanding
In general this place is a good option and I think it is recommendable if you want an special meal!

Surrounded by Clint Eastwood props from the spaghetti westerns, this comprehensive restaurant offers a wide choice to suit everyone. Experienced staff are light on their feet to quickly and efficiently serve food of a high standard. On the high street in this charming seaside village, you will be in the heart of a national park in a most interesting part of Andalusia.

Waterfront pizzeria/restaurant in Cabo de Gata Natural Park. An outside Terrace shadowed by jasmine plants where you can eat traditional thin roman style pizza cooked in a brick oven and italian dishes as lasagna, spaghetti with clams, gnocchi and 10 different seafood and meat carpaccios, deep fried srimps, squid. Tiramisú and Panna cotta desserts. All our dishes are totally home made. Our partners are: Mahou (Madrid beer), Carlsberg, Alhambra, Delta Cafés (Portuguese cafè), Galbani (Italian Mozzarella), Granoro (italian tomatoes). We also serve gin tonics using 10 premium Gins with select Tonic waters.
Always great pizza, Trastevere didn't disappoint us, even though it wasn't very busy that night. I ended up getting what seemed like the biggest pizza in Christendom after the pizza oven man threw away his first effort in disgust. Perfectionism was perfect here!

Wish we had more time to sample every flavour... leche merengada (whipped milk with lemon and cinnamon) is a flavour you can't get back home in the UK and this was by far the best I've had in Spain... the fact that you have to fight to make your way to the counter with a ticket to place your order is testament to how good the ice creams are. Really bl**dy good!

Queridos amigos y clientes, cerramos esta temporada de Restaurante El Jardín, hasta febrero del año que viene. Muchas Gracias por seguir acompañándonos al regreso, en esta gran aventura!!!
El Jardin offers a range of food but specialises in allergy avoidance and vegetarian dishes. In line with this, we both had vegetarian dishes, mine being the one mentioned by the last reviewer, berenjenas, based on baked aubergines, which was piping hot and delicious, while my wife had the gnocchi. The owner / server was very friendly to all diners. The review ratings truly reflect the situation here, that this small restaurant is way above the rest on this marina-side row, which are at best average.

Five of us visited after a day on the beach. We liked the food (we all had pizza and a large salad) and the wine was also fine (nothing extravagant, just the house red, as everything else on the list was imported from Italy). Service also good and with a smile. However, there was no soap or loo roll in the men's toilets even though this had been mentioned to the staff by me and separately by my wife in relation to the ladies. In the latter case this had not been resolved even after an hour. A minor point I know but one that is so simple to rectify.

We were visiting San Jose in February when the area is quite quiet and we were looking for some fresh seafood during our stay and we were both pretty impressed. We were in on a night with a live singer which made for a lovely atmosphere and it was busy with locals and the few tourists in the area. Good food, not the easiest place to order food if your Spanish isn't very strong though (it made us work harder on ours - in a good way!) but a nice time was had.

Great service, setting and menu, with some unusual choices like the scorpion fish we had - not so easy to find elsewhere. The quality of produce and cooking were superb and the whole evening was a real pleasure. The Deserts were way above the normal Spanish offerings, if a little whacky and def not the best things on the menu.
