Located at the bottom of the historic San Fernando Hill, Soong's Great Wall has been serving customers since 1981. We offer mainly Cantonese cuisine and we are open every day except Public Holidays. This restaurant serves East Indian cuisine. Went for business lunch. Located on Todd Street San Fernando. Easy to get to. Parking is provided at the front of the restaurant with security guard but limited. The interior is well decorated in rich fabrics even the ceiling but it is well done and contributes to authentic atmosphere. Tables aren't too packed so there is still a sense of privacy. Meal was pre-ordered so there wasn't a wait. Beef samosas were huge! Palm sized. Crispy and filling was tasty. Dips were divine. I did not see the menu but we had veg basmati rice, tandoori chicken and cheesy cauliflower . Latter was really good. Just right consistency not mushy not too hard. oh..and beans...not normal west indian seasoning. nice as well. desert was Indian ice cream. Pistachio flavoured solid coconut base. Yummy. I don't recall the actual indian name of the ice cream but they will know what you mean. Two thumbs up!

A wide çhoice of Din Sum at very reasonable prices. Traditional Chinese food also available. The service has improved tremendously since it first opened. You get dishes I have not found in other restaurants. You find a lot of ethnic Chinese patronising the establishment. Which is always a good indication that the food is the genuine article.

It is slightly devoid of atmosphere as there never seems to be more than a couple of people there during several visits.
The food is best described as OK, nothing to shout about but equally nothing terrible either, ribs were tender and tasty and everything turned up hot, a bonus in my experience of Trinny cuisine. also surprisingly quick to arrive too.
Staff were helpful, friendly and good humoured although not exactly run of their feet.

Visited this restaurant twice recently. The sushi here has always been consistently good! They currently have a great lunch special menu which provides good value as well. The wine by the glass options that they offer are better than a lot of the other restaurants in the south area. They also have yummy nespresso coffee! Always have an enjoyable time here!

Canboulay Restaurant is located on Sutton Street. Although it is not a large restaurant it is a popular spot for working people,"limers" , families and couples. I have rated the resataurant as very good based on the variety of consistently flavorful and well- seasoned dishes .
The service can improve since it tends to be a bit slow. The Restaurant is appealing also for its cleanliness and relaxed atmosphere. I have no hesitation in recommending this restaurant since the prices ard reasonable and one can order a meal to suit almost every palate.

Ordered food to takeaway for a birthday celebration! It was very tasty and had great flavours! You could also tell the food was freshly cooked unlike some restaurants I ordered food from! Good sized portions as well! The ambiance needs improvement however...

Always a must when I go to Trinidad. Tons of choices and all unbelievable great. My favorites are the coconut-raisin, soursop, barbadine and Barbasoup.

We a party of about 12 persons. The ambience and dining experience was absolutely interesting.
The portions were large enough, the food ...delicious, we had a variety of drinks.... Service was prompt and courteous. The evening was enjoyable and relaxing.
While there is adequate parking, challenges exist in distance as one has to cross a busy roadway to get to the restaurant.
Apart from food....There is a lovely feel of relaxation on a Friday afternoon. prices can be moderate or expensive...it depends on choice.
