Situated between Soi 12 and Soi 14 on Sukhumvit Road
Wherever in the world I travel I look for a pool club. In Bangkok I was fortunate enough to find Hustlers, just a stones throw from my Hotel, S Sukhumvit Suites.
Great place to play pool, lots of tables and very friendly waitresses. many of which are very good pool players and happy to play with solo customers.
Tables are well maintained as is the rest of the equipment. Drinks are reasonably priced and there is a nice selection of food available.
Definitely a place to return to if you are a pool player.

We have been her last year and it was nice, great location (difficult to find) nice atmosphere, friendly staff and delicious dishes.
This time something went very wrong, place and staff still great, but the food was dissapointing and just extremly expensiv ..... from my point of view they have a management problem
not enough guests for the big restaurant - the prices went up and the qulity down
never the best compination and the owner will get the bill for

Three month after, the atmosphere is totally different. Visited on Sunday and by 5:30pm , you can hardly find a seat at open air. Even the parking lot was congested.
Nov to Feb considered to be the best season for open concept restaurants.
Come week days may be a little bit better but come earlier around 5 pm is still the best way. You can choose the best seat for watching Sunset whilst enjoying dinner.

I know VT restaurant from Udon Thani - the original one and heard there're 2 in Bangkok. This is not so far from Bangna. The foods were similar from VT in Udon Thani, but there are some specialities here like vietnamese Fondue which you can't have in Udon. The price is about double from Udon branch. But the taste is good, like original. The place is old and the cleanliness must be improved.

At the Bang Pu Recreation Centre, the Official Restaurant is inside the Municipal Hall at the end of the Sea Walkway Bridge where you have feeded the Sea Gulls. The Municipal is also a Dancing Palour every Saturday. The Restaurant is seperated to two wings, the Sunrise Wing and the Sunset Wing. At 6 pm the Sun will set in Thailand during January and is the best place to have a sunset diner.
As this is a relatively local sight seeing spot, the price of food is very reasonable.

If you are in the area or maybe stay at the Oakwood Residence Garden Towers this restaurant is worth a visit. Excellent Thai food from mild to spicy for reasonable prices, nice athmosphere (it's mostly outdoors) and very friendly waitresses and waiters 'of all kind'.
It is, I think, a typical Thai restaurant. The food is served in no particular order relative to the order you want it. ;-) But always with a charming smile!
Most of the tables sit on two large piers above the end of a khlong, so there might be some moskitos at times, wear long sleeves when in moskito season. Smokey candles under tables provided by management...
But there are bats flying between the piers, eating the moskitos, also the ever present geckos feast on them, not to forget the turtles and fish in the water!
Mostly frequented by Thai, there's always the odd Farang.
One of the waitresses speaks a pretty acceptable english, also english menus (no pics) available.
Did I mention the charming friendly staff?
I really enjoyed every evening I spent here!

This is a much-hyped seafood restaurant, quite difficult to find. However, the range of seafood is not large - only 3 types of fish, for example, including the ubiquitous salmon, which I personally do not associate with seafood. Service was not very good, rather slow and erratic, they forgot one order. And it is certainly not cheap - you can get the same in central Bangkok cheaper. It is a 'rustic' outdoor/covered sort of place, which Thais seem to like, but which many Europeans would regard as rather primitive. The sea view is not very interesting either, all you can see is sea. So I would suggest that Europeans at least give this a miss.
