we found this place to avoid Parizhzh wich was horrible. Russian food variety was ok - nothing extraordinary but fresh and served fast for reasonable price. Mind advance booking - the area becomes crowded during holidays

Very good place to stay with good services, clean rooms and nice staff. Maybe could be more space for clothes for longer stays.

Обычная столовая, выбор не большой. Большинство блюд с стопе. Место, чтобы быстро поесть и идти дальше. Ничего примечательного. Практически все блюда пресные. Перебои с наличием столовых предметов.

This is a lively busy place popular with the locals. Fast friendly service and good fresh food. You can even dress up in chain mail and helmets if that's what you like.

Hidden in a nice passage a relaxing Terrace to dine al fresco in the Summer, across the street from the fabulous Kremlin white walls of Rostov. Good pizzas with thin crust. Good perch fish topped with melted cheese called "Dream of Proletarian" :-). Good service with a few words of English (pretty rare in other places in this small city).

После экскурсии по Кремлю зашли пообедать.
Борщ, салат, скоблянка - вполне съедобные, обычная домашняя еда без изысков.
А Вот в свежевыжатом апельсиновом соке обнаружили червяки (примерно 4-5 шт.), при этом я уже успел немного отпить.
Официантка конечно же быстро убрала его и вычеркнула из счета, заменила любым другим за счет заведения. Вроде бы и на кухне все перепугались.
Но им повезло, что в тот день я был спокойный и не поднял скандал. Считаю не допустимо такое в кафе-ресторане!
Дело в чистоте кухни/соковыжималки или в поставщиках апельсинов (как выяснялось и в них заводятся червяки) или просто сок сделали из испорченных апельсинов (хотя на вкус был обычный сок) - не знаю.

A collleague recommended this restaurant for fish dishes. I had a fish soup on base of milk what was very good. Afterward I had a fish steak. It was good but not perfect. So for me all in all it was an average experience. Prices were ok.
