Nice restaurant outside Rocamadour, so enough parking-space...
Best is sitting on the Terrace where you have the impression of being in the woods.
Regional cuisine with good quality/price. Friendly personnel.
Sometimes large bus-groups of tourists visiting Rocamadour will have dinner, but they are easily accommodated inside.

Great location, friendly staff, good food at a decent price (remember it's a touristy spot which means the prices are always a bit higher). Apparently one of the oldest buildings in the village, 3 terraces + interior, it becomes a pub later in the evennin' as well. We ended-up going back.

The Restaurant Le Belvedere in Rocamadour is located in the Hotel Le Belvedere, which is part of the Logis de France group of hotels.
Great restaurant with friendly staff, delicious, well presented food and stunning views - well worth a visit. From the moment we arrived and were shown to a table, outside with views over Rocamadour, to the moment we left we had a really lovely experience. All the food that was served (we had the 26€ menu) was delicious although the starters and the desserts stood out more as they were so beautifully presented. The mains, although tasty, were nowhere near as well presented, which seemed strange after how elaborate the starters had been, and then the desserts then were at the end. The service was efficient and when we asked for a break after our mains they happily obliged.
The views over Rocamadour are also stunning, particularly when it starts to get dark and you can see everything lit up.
Well worth a visit!

In The Center Of The Medieval City Of Rocamadour Overlooking The Alzou Valley Gastronomic Regional Cooking
And it was good the second time, often a good test for a restaurant the night after the first! One guest had same tuna entree after trying it as part of a set menu and claimed it was still superb.
I was impressed at quality presentation, fresh vegetables and fruit, very good food and reasonable prices.

Au coeur de L'Hospitalet, sur les hauteurs de Rocamadour, cuisine de type bistrot, d'inspiration locale et internationale, dans une ambiance conviviale. Deux terrasses ombragees, parking prive.Nous acceptons les chiens. Acce handicape.2 Chaises bebes a disposition.
I find it funny to read reviews of people saying this is the best meal they have had in the entire region! Meal was fine and service was very prompt which is good in a tourist town but this is a high volume restaurant that turns out decent to good food for tourists. This is not haute cuisine but rather a good place to get a steak and fries. Would I return? Maybe. But would I go out of my way to eat here? No. Main advantage is their private parking lot. Despite the name of the restaurant there is no view.
Fine but not great.

Having walked down from the castle on a hot day, we were ready to sit down on the lovely Terrace and take in the superb view, as well as enjoying some lunch. Although, once it arrived, the food was palatable enough, we waited almost 50 minutes for our starter to arrive, then when it came, it was the wrong order. By the time we were actually served the food we had ordered, we had been seated for an hour. The food was not bad, the prices about average for the area, and the ambiance was great, but a little more attention to customers would have been welcome.

Great location and we wanted a short sit down lunch (after climbing the Grand Escalier sustenance is needed). We had the Cesar and the Rocamadour cheese salad. Both were really tasty and perfect for lunch and generous in size. Service a bit slow but we are on holiday so who cares!

Discover the difference of our Taste of Ice Cream and Sorbets "Facts Home" from twenty subtle and original flavors? To take away or to enjoy on site in a green and in the middle of a warm family atmosphere. Ice Cream made out of our own milk production, made of cows or goats milk. Access to the goats or milk on-site.
Homemade ice cream made from locally source cos milk or their own goat milk (milked daily from their goats). WOW! In over 30 different flavours at last count, my children love visiting for ice cream here, friends family and clients from our local B&B are all in love with Liesbeths ice cream.
We are regular visitors, and as I am dairy intolerant, their goat milk ice cream is perfect for me - creamy and delicious, you cannot tell it is made from goats milk. In many flavours it is all amazing. Cones, cups, coups!! With or without cream, perfection.
We all have our favourites, and the sauces that accompany these are superb as well (you just can't go wrong with Belgian chocolate over mint ice cream says my husband!).
Easily accessible from one of the main routes from the the Medieval City of Rocamadour, plentiful parking on site, and always welcoming. Seating with parasols, or say hello to their goats and horses, Flynn the dog will also give you a warm welcome too.
Leisbeth and Olivier - you have got it right! We will see you again soon!

We arrived in L'Hospitalet looking for lunch and were left very pleased to have chosen the Bellevue. My wife and I were welcomed like old friends and the service was excellent.
The plat de jour was very tasty as was the 'house red'. Portions were generous and we were kept supplied with fresh bread and water. Excellent value for money for those of us on a budget.
What more could you want!?

The restaurant at the Hotel du Chateau offers regional, gastronomic menus ranging from 14 € to 38.50 € As well as an a la carte menu. When the weather permits, meals can be taken on the Terrace in the shade of the oaks and the ash trees. The restaurant is open every lunchtime from midday until 1.30Pm (2pm in July and August and on bank holiday weekends) and in the evenings from 7.30Pm until 9pm. On certain evenings, our pianist will be playing in the restaurant. Bon appetit!
Six of us had lunch at Restaurant du Chateau. It was a beautiful sunny day and we sat outside in the shde of the trees (supplemented by large parasols). We dined on fabulous foie gras, delicious salads, main courses typical of the region, cheeses and...MoreDear Madam, Sir, Thank you soo much for your very kind and pleasant comment.
