Cooking with love right at the beach!
Lovely spot on the beach (once you negotiate getting in to the Iguana complex) Nice menu, very well presented food on the plate and tasty with it. A couple of very reasonable wines available as well. Excellent service with Pili the perfect host. We loved it and will return!

We had lunch here and won't be returning. Our lunches came with salads, they were mediocre. Iceberg lettuce, a little red cabbage, tomato, carrot slice, beets, etc. The main dish portions were pretty generous. I had chicken breast with mushroom sauce, the chicken was moist and tasty, the mushroom sauce was lousy and it was served with some basic french fries and a cup of lukewarm rice. My husband had fried pork which was very gristly. It was served with tostones, which were ok and a cup of lukewarm rice. We've been in Nicaragua for almost 2 months and it was easily the lousiest meal we've had. At $27 for 2 including tip it was also one of the most expensive, we regularly eat lunch out for $10-$15. The service was good, too bad the food wasn't.

My wife and I were driving back from the Rivas Beaches and had heard of this restaurant in the main city We passed by for some cocktails and some steak, but ended up staying until the live music ended. We enjoyed music from the 80s and 90s, everyone was having a great time. Two thumbs up!

Not much to say about this place. The food is pretty much what you find in all the tourist places in spite of the menu touting Mexican and Italian dishes. Prices are on the high side for ordinary eating.Ok, should also try the german dishes thats why there is a german flag outside

Slow roasted BBQ chicken on fresh baked Sourdough bread with cole slaw and slow-drip local coffee. It's real, you can buy it, and it's exactly as delicious as it sounds - quit drooling and visit this place!
This cafe is the reason I look forward to going to Rivas now. Fresh products, western quality sandwiches with real bread, amazing desserts, and coffee prepared the way it's meant to be tasted. If you're in Rivas and don't go here, you're missing out.

We took our day camp kids for lunch here after a nearby field trip. We had a large group of kids and that is often difficult to accommodate. The staff at Moss was excellent!! They were very patient with our little ones, and food came out fast and together (we did pre-order, but it's still difficult). The kids and grown ups alike loved their food, we'll surely be back.
