Would absolutely recommend this place! The food was delicious and the drinks were great too! I ordered the pesto pasta and my wife ordered the mango chicken salad, both tasted great! We also had the Oreo Frappuccino and fruit smoothie, so good! I’d say the Oreo Frappuccino is the best I’ve ever had! The staff were also super friendly.

Took business associates to La Mesa. The food was excelent as always, and Andre and Monique made us feel at home in thier home. This is easly the best food in Costa Rica. I highly recommend it.

Our group of four stopped at Tierra Mar based on the Trip Advisor review as we were returning from the Rincon de la Vieja national park.
Street parking was readily available and the restaurant offered plenty of Seating at lunch. There is an extensive menu (note: it is in Spanish only but if you have even a little Spanish, you should be fine) with lots and lots of choices. The manager who served us was very polite and helpful - he spoke limited English but with our limited Spanish, we all made out fine.
This is a seafood restaurant so most of the dishes are predictably seafood based.
Service was reasonably prompt by CR standards and quite attentive. The food was excellent and everybody enjoyed their selections. I had the garlic shrimp and they were excellent.
Highly recommended.

This is a great place to go in Liberia if you want to try typical Costa Rican food well made. It is like homemade food. Considering Liberia is hot and almost no restaurant has air conditioning it is always nice to have lunch or coffee with a nice and cool atmosphere. Owners are great people with a great service commitment. It is a must in Liberia.

We ordered steaks, chicken & Fajitas. Steak & chicken were awesome. Perfectly cooked and presented. It came with salad or beans or fries.
Easy to find as it’s straight down the Main Street in Liberia. Happening place so make reservation.
Service was very good. Spoke some English and menu is totally in Spanish.

I went for dinner with a large group from work, and everyone loved their food. From octopus to tuna to camarones, we enjoyed every bite. I highly recommend the jumbo shrimp prepared to order. Delicious! Service was also very good. Excellent choice for dinner. Will return.

The Pizza Mare was excellent. Highly recommended. Not so great points were the less than stellar service and serving bread without oil or butter is a bit weird. Great place for Liberia, but elsewhere it would not seem so great.

A small cafe run by a very sweet lady. We had the best casado (traditional Costa Rican meal) here. Reasonably priced, the casado comes with drink and dessert. Her cakes were awesome. Good smoothies. Great coffee. Empanadas were ok.
Ask for packed lunch if you plan to spend the day hiking at Rincon de vehja national park.
Good choice of music. Highly recommended.

I've been to El Patio a couple times. Today I visited with my family but we had to wait more than 40 min for the food. My sister ordered a 'sopa azteca' but it was not good at all. We ate 'arrachera' (entraña) which was a good piece of meat. I was surprised the waiter didn't understand I wanted the beef term to be 'rare'. I think they have to improve the service.
