This restaurant is at a stunning resort and was worth the cool monkey trail hike to get here but all in all food didn't seem that special. From Reading reviews I thought it would be spectacular it's a bit expensive for what it is. Restaurant is inside so good if you want out of the heat.
Ultimately I would recommend coming to this resort to have a drink and check out the beautiful location. There are other restaurants on premises that may be better...not sure.

Carnivore serves since 2003 mouthwatering steaks; Rib Eye, Tenderloin, Lamb, Pork and chicken. All our beef is imported vacuum fresh from Australia and New Zealand. Also do we serve several fish plates; prawns, white snapper, tuna and more. Our generous salads and wide range of starters are highly appreciated with our guests. All main courses are served with a delicious salad, and you can choose between 13 side dishes and 5 meat-sauces. Since 2004 we provide our guests with a selection of 50 different beers from all over the world and also more then 40 different wines. Since 2014 do we also have a selection of about 30 different whiskeys; many of them single malts.
This is not our usual type restaurant when in Thailand - but we were feeling desperate for MEAT. Not being steak eaters, we had looked around for spare ribs in the thai food restaurants and couldn't find them. I looked on Tripadvisor and found this restaurant - and was VERY IMPRESSED and returned twice.
A lovely setting. We ordered the ribs to share to check on the size - I'm glad we did - the service was very large and they were delicious. On arrival you receive a piece of olive bread, olives and a couple of dips, you also receive a lovely side salad and you get to choose a type of potatoes of your choice. We tried the french fries and Homemade french fries.
The menu may look expensive but the ribs cost around 450 bhat so this meal cost us less than our usual Thai meal and for the quality we thought it was excellent value.
Large variety of beers available but the usual chang was 160 bhat.

None of the bars and restaurants on Railay is actually listed on Tripadvisor. I intend to comment on all hotels and restaurants I visit on Tripadivisor.
We were at the bar quite early so it was fairly quiet. Staff playing pool. Over time it filled up and they put on some entertainment which i really enjoyed. We could see a thai boxing ring to the side of the bar but we didnt see any fights. I think they were on later that evening. Guy behind the bar was a top bloke. Looked after us. We just sat for a few hours watching the tide come in. Very nice evening.

Diver's Inn opened its doors as the first German Restaurant in Ao Nang, Krabi,in August 2000. Just a small place with 10 tables and 4 staff, the restaurant earned a reputation for quality Steaks, Thai and German Food at reasonable prices. In May 2006 we moved into a new building just a few steps away from McDonalds, directly opposite the Siam Commercial Bank. Customers can enjoy tasty and juicy steaks (Chilled vacuumed Australian Black Angus) as well as delicious Thai and European food, using only the finest and freshest ingredients that our restaurant has to offer. If you love meat other than beef you have a choice of duck, pork and chicken and for the non-meat eaters there are seafood and vegetarian options. All European meat dishes come with a salad buffet or a big side salad, potato side dish and sauces to choose from. We do gluten free food, just need to know if you as a customer are in need of it. Please note, we do not make Reservations for tables at any time.
Very good food. The drinks came right away and the food was served right after. The owner came to the table and asked if everything was okay. Service from the staff was also very good.Hello Bjoern Thank you very much for your nice comment. Was a pleasure to to serve all of you. Have a great time . Best regards Jeab, Jürgen and Diver´s Inn Team

Large restaurant offering a variety of Thai and some international food. Fish dishes are around 350 bath, the rest remains in the usual price range of 100-200 bath.
The food is quite ok but nothing especial and will definitely not remain in my memory. This is simply on the same level of taste and quality as a lot of others thai restaurants in touristic areas

We are not a Thailand specialist and don’t really know Thai food, but if their food reflects on the Thai food then it’s the best food in the world, the fish so tender and perfectly done, amazing sprig rolls , everything we touched was just perfect!!!
Highly recommended

Home made delicious desserts and fantastic Thai menu satisfied Asian spicy carvings. Wines selected over 10 countries all around the world to match everyones palate and budget. I had salmon it was very very salty. My hubby had chicken which he said was really good. Service was very good and they did offer to change mine and gave me a free coffee. The wine was good and they do decaf coffee. It's a little pricey for Thailand.

We are Indian based and Indian origin business owner. Great English speaking waiters and chef. All kinds of North Indian dishes and Italian dishes made by highly trained chefs from India. Indian barbeque and special TANDOOR (traditional way) oven - NAN bread made in that which makes more delicious and great taste of original Indian cuisine.
One of the rare restaurants in Railay beach that does not serve Thai food. The restaurant was full. Quite an extensive menu including pizza (what's the link to India?), prices are slightly higher than Thai restaurants ranging from 200 to 500 baths, but still cheaper than in Europe.
The food was excellent, crispy naans, creamy curries and not too spicy. Excellent alternative if you want to vary from Thai food.

Cocktails are very tasty. You should order Frozen Mochito or Bang Bang Paradise to get one of the best cocktails at Railay. Also is the barkeeper Bang Bang a absolute have to known person. Friendly, funny and really a good guy with such a friendly personality. If we come back to railay we‘ll definetly go to bang bang again.
