Been here every year for past 5+ years and it keeps getting better. Lunch is good and decently priced (the pizzas had gotten way better this year, especially the smoked reindeer one) and dinner in the a la carte side is really delicious (especially whitefish and the perch).

We ate in the bar, we had burgers and fish and chips and a selection of dippers (onion rings, jalapeño poppers and mozzarella sticks). The food all went down well, although I felt my reindeer burger could have had fewer toppings, it is hard to taste the meat with so many flavours going on. I would have liked a few more fries. Excellent beer and service and a warm cosy atmosphere.

Café Loimu is situated in the same building as Pyhä-Luosto Visitor and Culture Centre Naava, at the root of Fell Kultakero. The scenery is very beautiful. Café Loimu isn't just a cafeteria. It is a nice restaurant, too. In addition to the ála carte menu they also have other lunch opportunities (a lunch soup or a home-cooked lunch from a buffet). They have Lappish specialities, too, e.g. reindeer meals. I ordered a reindeer pita and it was very delicious. Remember to visit the free nature exhibition in the same building!

We spent morning skiing and finished the day to Wurst before heading to do some cross country. Time for little snack and I was pleased to find out that they had mulled wine to warm you up. And very tasty french toasts (koyhat ritarit) to kill the hunger. Place was very cozy, and since my last visit years ago it had got some huge face lift. Nice place for break with very variation of drinks and snacks.

Tsokka is a small cafe on top of the Kultakero hill in Pyhätunturi. Coffee, drinks and hot chocolate, good waffles with local flavors. There's usually soup with bread baked on site for lunch. I can wholeheartedly recommend the salmon soup, which was creamy and full of well balanced flavors -- a valid reason to travel to Pyhätunturi and Tsokka by itself. Very friendly service. When the weather is clear the views from Tsokka are breathtaking and when the weather turns into a blizzard, well, then it's even more nice to head towards the glow from the snow buried Tsokka.

Calle-talo is a cafe serving hot chocolate and drinks, located on one of the red slopes in Pyhä ski resort, Pyhätunturi, Finland. Nice dark ambience and friendly, relaxed staff. Board games and music. Nice place to stop for a coffee and for a beer after a day in the slopes.

Really enjoyed the salmon with ginger dish, and chicken topped with goats cheese dish on a parsnip mash. Service was faultless and the views amazing from the window tables. We ate here on several evenings and loved the ambience with mellow Christmas classics being played in the background.
