This restaurant is certainly worth a visit. The food is immaculate, the service is friendly but unobtrusive and the surroundings are relaxing and tasteful. In fact I can't think of any negatives at all. If this place were on the Mainland I believe a Michelin star would be on the cards. Many thanks for such a wonderful evening!

La Terraza Playa Chica is a unique dining experience in Puerto del Rosario bringing you a true taste of the Mediterranean.
We wanted to try some fresh fish on our recent visit to Fuerteventura and decided to go to this restaurant and let me tell you that we took a wonderful decision.
Since it was late and we didn't want to eat much we decided to go for just the one dish each so my wife decided to go for the seabass and I asked for grouper. While we were waiting the one of the waiters offered us some fried sardines and some toasted bread with " mojo picon " which is a traditional sauce from the Canary Islands, not too spicy and it goes really well with the bread and the boiled potatoes.
We asked for a bottle of Verdejo from Ramón Bilbao vineyards that was just about as nice and refreshing as it comes. Nicely kept at a nice temperature with a cooler.
As you can imagine we were already thinking that we had made a nice choice but we could not even imagine what was about to come.
Both of our mains were purely & simply majestic. The chef got them to the point where you know that you are going to remember that fish for a very long time . The verdejo was a perfect choice to accompany our food.
The two waiters were fantastic and very professional, hats out to them .
One in particular proved to be really skilled with the tray full of bottles of wine , gin , whiskey, glass, ice.... it is great when u ask for a G&T and you have to tell them to stop pouring ;-)
Since I was really impressed with all that we have had so far I couldn't resist to ask for a local dessert made of chocolate, cream and biscuit. OMG,perfect closing for the evening.
I'll be back !!

Restaurant nearly full, decent location with sea views and tastefully decorated. Staff professional, noticeably focused, formally polite but a monotone and impersonal service. Excellent selection of fresh fish. Small problem with a starter solved practically by the kitchen and politely by the staff. Food and overall experience acceptable, passable but forgettable. I've had better experiences here in the past but we would go back to try again another day.

A stunning little restaurant tucked away on the edge of the capital. Definitely somewhere you need to find. A select menu, and specials offered. Lovely food, and some nice wines on the menu, plus some little touches here and there.. Made to feel most welcome.. Look forward to going back... Delicious!

It is certainly worth seeking out this excellent little eatery in Rosario overlooking the harbour. We have visited El Perenquen a number of times and have never been disappointed. The service and food quality are both top of the range and good value. Very good menu and we love the selection of pinchos! Real chips too! The house wine is very good value! The place is always really clean and well maintained. We love the friendly service from the staff. Thanks to all at El Perenquen! We look forward to our next visit.

when you go in to the restaurant the fist thing that hits you are the outstanding views because you are high up.
Being fairly new to Japanese food we were a little nervous and we explained this to our hostess. she was very helpful and suggested trying the 10 piece sushi to start. We sat up at the hot plate to watch everything getting cooked.
The sushi was gorgeous, the fish just melted in your mouth.
The show put on by our chef cooking our mains was pure artistry. There were knives and food flying everywhere and it all landed together in the most wonderful tasty dishes. He was so lovely and was very appreciative of our oohs and aahs. It was like going to see a show as much as going to eat. Would highly recommend a visit. We were made to feel very relaxed even though we were not sure how we should do things. the lovely staff kept us right but it was also very much do your own thing. Definitely worth a visit.

Very good place, the salads are very good, and the meat very tasty. If you want to eat well at reasonable price, this is your place. Excellent service. Very good choice.

Really good attention and delicious products. All is homemade, the orange juice was the best served with a special bread and cheese.

All I can say here is this is an absolute MUST visit!! The food here is incredible - with complex yet subtle flavors, it’s truly a delight! My husband and I ordered the goat, calamari, seafood croquettes and the prawn salad. All the food was gorgeous - it was hard to decipher what was a main and what was an entree - so we ordered 4 meals - but to be honest it was a happy accident! The portions are a good size and you are able to try quality food for a reasonable price! 50 euros for the food and 3 drinks! Also the atmosphere in this restaurant was gorgeous and romantic, and the service was unbelievable!!!

Small family run restaurant near the coast. Amazing staff and the most fresh dishes we have tasted on the island. Fantastic array of sea food and tapas dishes, perfect for sampling authentic tapas and local catches. Definitely worth the trip from any part of the island and a real value for money.
