Had an excellent meal here, black pudding starter, lamb main and homemade icecream for dessert. Waiter's were friendly the food was cooked to perfection. House white wine was lovely very palatable according to my husband as was the sweet sherry. Do not drive pass this place.....we have booked to go another evening as so much on menu we want to try.

Thank goodness Sabor Toscana opened early in 2018. For almost all of December 2017 there was not a single Italian restaurant open in Puerto de la Duquesa. We understand that lots of restaurants close for a while in the winter but the 4 or 5 weeks that saw Sabor closed was the hardest to take. The food here is superb and our return on the 2nd of January found it putting out the same top quality but reasonably priced food. As ever the atmosphere was friendly, the staff knowledgeable and the wine excellent. We will return soon for another outstanding meal.

Right on the beach front this Argentinian Resturant is in a lively setting great for people watching!
Complimentary starter of toast and patty was a lovely touch, good friendly service.
The lamb chops were delicious and my husband had the steak that was also cooked to perfection.
Not the cheapest Resturant but is reflected in the quality of food and setting.
Would strongly recommend booking this poplar very good restaurant.

Last year we were quite happy with our take-away from Marlow's. This year it was very disappointing. The batter was flat and greasy - much of it stuck to the paper, and we were only 5 minutes away. The fish could have been more tender and the chips were just boring.
The boss was behind the fryer, so it wasn't as though we had the 'b' team!

Dined here on my last night in Duquesa, great experience. This is obviously a well run, well liked establishment. The food and service were both excellent. Staff accommodating and attentive. I had the sole fish, cooked to perfection, accompanied by fresh vegetables, again beautifully cooked. Caramel cheesecake for pudding was definitely the right choice!

This restaurant is an absolute gem in all respects. Superb people who know their stuff, the welcome is warm, the service is appropriately friendly atmosphere, very varied menu and never a disappointment just a place to relax and savour.
Cannot wait until our next visit. Advice: Book a table.

We ate here as we wanted Thai food... we got generic Chinese food that was no where near as good as other local places.
It was also more expensive than the local Chinese places.
If you want generic asian food, you will like this. if you want Thai food, you will hate this place.. really hate it.
It is not great value for money either.
Sorry if this sounds negative, but I was actually pretty angry when we left... felt like we had been conned by the description and what we actually got

I have walked past this eatery many times over the years without going in. I was pleasantly surprised when I went in with a friend one evening. The menu was varied and very reasonably priced. There weren’t many people in there with being off season, but the experience was well worth it.
We chose the fried beef with green peppers and boiled rice. It was nicely cooked and tender, but more importantly - tasty! The staff were friendly and attentive. We also had a pint with the meal and the total cost was 24 euros, so very reasonable.
I was so impressed that I went in alone a couple of nights later for a take-away, which was just as good. I cannot fault them in any way and would recommend them.

All the other reviews of La Casita pretty much agree that this is a really well run, reasonably priced restaurant in Sabinillas. We have tried everything on the menu and have yet to come across anything that has disappointed. Sunday always seems to be a good day for a lunch time visit. Great food again and again.
