We had asked about good restaurants in the area and this had not been mentioned. We decided to lunch there on the advice of Trip Advisor and were very pleasantly surprised. The decor inside was bright and clean and modern. The lighting of spotlights directly over the table was excellent.
The menu del dia at 20.50€ was more than we would usually pay but the quality of the menu was outstanding. The food was imaginative and beautifully presented. The only negative was my steak which was very gristly and hard to cut. I ate what I could and informed the young waiter of the problem, but I do not think my comment was passed on either to the chef nor the owner. However, this would not prevent us from going again to this restaurant and despite this we would recommend it.

Cocina tecno-emocional de montaña situado en Ainsa, villa medieval y uno de los pueblos más bonitos de España.
Unusual menu: there were about a dozen appetisers (degustation) before our "a la carte" mains and desserts. They were tasty and well presented, but resulted in too much food by the time the entire meal was over.
The waiters are noteworthy: they never smiled, they dropped the plates in front of each diner, and whipped them away again before the last mouthful was swallowed. They seemed to be too busy serving the 14 appetisers, some of which required extra preparation at the table.
Overall an enjoyable meal. Would have been better if the mains were smaller to compensate for the numerous appetisers.
Our table had great views towards the Mountains. The decor was interesting and not tacky, and the total price was ridiculously low given the number of dishes. Overall it was very enjoyable.

On a hot June night, there is absolutely nothing as romantic as sitting on the olive tree-studded patio of Casa Pardina, with a cold glass of rosado, watching the full moon rise over Alquezar. The setting is absolutely fantastic and, happily, so is the food. The fresh regional salad with grilled asparagus and tomato confit boasted a luscious vinaigrette, and the cheese souffle starter that my husband ordered was light and, judging by the look on his face, scrumptious. But the highlight of dinner was the main course: I am a lamb-o-phile, and the grilled chops (chuletas) were perhaps the best I have ever eaten--tender and flavorful. The staff was sweet, too--two wonderful women who brought fun and charm to the whole evening. We drove 4 hours to get to Alquezar: I will do it again, if just to dine at the Casa Pardina!

Almost all the menu is home reared and home grown. A steep drive up from Castejon de Sos but well worth the drive. Can be very busy so book ahead. Very fresh, simple, uncomplicated dishes served by highly informed staff who obviously enjoy their work giving great advice and attentive, but not fussy, service. We have been 4 times and would never visit the reason without eating here it has always been the best meal we have had at any point on any of our holidays.

The food at Casa Coronel is outstanding. Four of us had the set menu and each dish was delicious, beautifully presented and reflected the cuisine of the area using fresh local ingredients. The couple who run the restaurant are extremely thoughtful and ensure guests are welcomed and leave very happy, and planning the next visit!

Enthusiasm and effort, passion, dedication and respect. Those are some of our values. Tatau is Rock & Roll, is naughty, like Pin Ups, an experience that you will remember such as tattoos once left their mark on the skin of the sailors on each port. It's the tapas bar we'd love to go as clients. It's cuisine made with love and on top form. It is the care for detail, a well thrown rod, quality coffee, good wine here and there .. Tatau is all we are is everything we like.
Informal but correct atmosphere with exquisite tapas delicately presented and well served. Scallop with pig jowl and apple puree, roast suckling pig, and the prawn with pork stew were all spectacular. Decent selection of wine both local and national. Thumbs up.

Had a fun dinner here. Most of us were happy. Octopus starter was delicious, steak was excellent. Nice Rioja for only 18 euros. They also have barrels of house wine when you walk in, which were decent. Only weak spot was one pork entree, which was a curious amalgam of fat, gristle and bones. It looked relatively inedible, and looks did not deceive. We were only people there so sat in small "private" dining room. In summary, really fun dinner, just watch out for one cerdo entree! Good value 150 euros for five of us, including propina.

A seasonly restaurant when improve the better ingredients naturally and handmade cooked.
What a discovery - thanks TripAdvisor. We had lunch here twice although it involved a return journey of around an hour from our base. Everything about this restaurant is good. The food is certainly 1* Michelin standard - inventive, beautifully presented, everything fresh and tasty. The room is full of atmosphere and interest, remarkable since it is in a modern block in a nice but uninspired area. The service was excellent on both visits and prices represent amazing value for money. We will certainly be back.
