Family-friendly and tranquil, Protaras is situated along the sandy coastline of Cyprus's Fig Tree Bay. The glorious beach is the main attraction—just be sure to keep a delightfully wary eye peeled for the legendary Ayia Napa Sea Monster. Giggle about the creepy creature over Cypriot specialties at one of the many open-air seafood restaurants in town.

The Nissiotis is a throwback to the glory days of Cyprus tourism where the food was plentiful and delicious, the prices made sense and the golden Beaches were never far away. This place is ten paces from the beach and serves traditional Cyprus dishes cooked...MoreThanks !!!

PLEASE CALL FOR RESERVATION BEFORE 17:00 PM# The Corner Restaurant Flambé became one of the fashionable places in Protaras. The completely new Mediterranean menu is a result of a creative cooperation of executive chef Antonis Kavazis and celebrity chef Stephanos Chrysanthou. It boasts popular dishes starting from classical salads and carpaccios to steaks, pasta and seafood. The main attraction of the dining area is a live cooking station .Open for dinner only, so, on deciding for visit is worth reserving a table.
Have been visiting this restaurant for many years. Service is always first class , but you will need to book in High Season to be sure of a table. George, Antonis and their family's run this place and Andama with precision. I had sea bass the first visit absolutely beautiful and then prawnflambed with ouzo with risoni a type of rice something really different but very tasty . My husband had the steak which he said was very good.we normally share a flambed pancake with an orange liqueur. Also you get a complimentary cold soup and warmed bread rolls, a nice touch. Look forward to next year

We visited this restaurant last year and loved it so much we came back multiple times over our holiday. This year it was one of the first restaurants we wanted to go back to. We booked a table for six adults and two children which turned out to be a table for six full stop. The manager came over and apologised but the situation could not be rectified. The table was to the right of the kitchen this time and next to a table of around 20 very drunk and loud people. This meant we could barely hear each other and as a result ruined our meal. The food was good but not as good as we had remembered and so we did not visit again despite looking forward to this restaurant the most.
Worth a try but not as good as it used to be.

We tried a different restaurant each night (last week) after a bit of research and this one was just a short walk from where we were staying so we decided to give it a go.
The service was perfect, the food was first class - all four of us had something different and they were all superbly presented and delivered.
The place looks classy but the best part is the staff - they were so friendly, efficient, attentive that it's one of those restaurant experiences where you feel you need to tell them all how much you enjoyed it as you are leaving.
Wonderful.

It's on the outskirts of Protaras on the way to Cape Greco. That's how it describes itself on it's business cards!
Visited on the great reviews and was not disappointed, in fact we returned the next 2 nights as well!!
Fantastic and tasty Cypriot food at very reasonable prices and friendly service.
Set menus and meze great value for money and good local wine. Would recommend the moussaka, kleftico and meat meze.

Restaurant is a short distance from The Golden Coast Beach Hotel
Here in Pernera, on the strip, there are simply loads of restaurants of all types though often the food doesn't vary much from place to place. So we decided to try Pinia, a supposedly authentic Cypriot dining experience where locals choose to eat as well as us tourists. We walked up the main Pernera Road out of town, past the roadworks and new building development. It wasn't the nicest of walks but we persevered. Turning right down towards the Golden Coast Hotel and just before the harbour (we could have got there far more easily by using the coastal footpath) was Pinias Taverna. At 7.30 when we arrived just 2 or 3 other tables were taken, but by the time we left, it was buzzing. The service is quick, friendly, helpful and courteous- no "My Dear" here. Madam and sir. That's more like it. I ordered a bottle of house red at 10€ which wasn't the best but was acceptable. I ordered the lamb chops with salad and my wife Lamb Kleftico with oven potatoes. Both lip-smackingly good. Quick enough service, lovely atmosphere outside under the grapevined roof. A superb relaxed ambience that made you feel you could spend all night there. By the time we left, the place was packed with diners, with still more arriving, many of them Greek-speaking. With crisp, toasted bread and butter and a large bottle of water, 34€ was more than reasonable. This is the sort of place you'd be happy to eat at again and again. And we shall too! The walk back past the harbour to Kalmies Beach and our hotel was a lovely end to a perfectly relaxed evening. Hmm? Maybe that wine was better than I first thought!

Lovely modern new restaurant specialising in Indian and Mexican food. The atmosphere, ambience and menu are excellent. Value for money is excellent especially considering the suroundings.
We have visited this restaurant on 4 occasions now and each time the meal is too hot and spicy. Our party all like hot Indian food, but it's just too hot. On subsequent visits we have requested medium and even mild but the food is still served far too hot.
A real shame as the restaurant is beautiful, well staffed and has had a lot of money spent on it.

PLEASE CALL FOR RESERVATION BEFORE 17:00 PM# Andama Tavern is a fine example of the famous Cypriot hospitality in the centre of Protaras. The menu created on original family recipes. Prawn sayanaki, kleftiko, mousaka, meat meze and fish platters will find the way to every heart. Flowers, herbs and plenty of wooden surfaces create an atmosphere of a home style feast, cozy and incredibly tasty. "Get-together" is the meaning of "Andama". The Tavern opens its doors for lunch and dinner.
Fantastic authentic Greek food in a superb atmosphere, the menu is varied and the staff provide an excellent and friendly service, although the restaurant was very busy when we were there with people waiting for tables we never felt rushed we really enjoyed the atmosphere and the food, definitely the best meal we had in Protaras, would definitely recommend.
