On our way back to England from Germany we stopped to visit our cousins who live in Namur. In the evening they suggested to come here for dinner. I wasn't prepared for this: from the outside the place looks so unassuming, it is right next to a sort of natural swimming pool and it looks like very bad 60s/70s architecture from the outside. But once inside, there are nice materials and decoration and on the whole a pleasant atmosphere. Very spacious, large spaces between tables.
We ordered the menu with wine to accompany the dishes. The starter was a kind of 'Surf and Turf', a cooked prawn on top of steak tartar with a deep fried salad leaf in between. It was exquisite! I cannot remember the wine we had with the dish, but it was a lovely white wine and in contrast to other places with wine flight, they came and refilled our glasses. Then we had to wait for more than 40 minutes until our main course arrived (thankfully they kept refilling our glasses!) The main courses were very good, depending which school you're from you might say 'very small portions' or 'just right' (my take). I had venison, the others had the lobster or fish. All very well cooked. Accompanied by a red wine from the Southern Rhone, made from a grape I never had heard of before and cannot remember at this moment. It went very well with the food.
Dessert arrived a bit faster, but there was no dessert wine to accompany it.
All in all we had a pleasant evening and a good meal. My impression was that they are trying to get a star in the Michelin (they are listed) and maybe that they are trying a bit too hard. I wish them all the best luck in achieving their goal.

we were driving, and stopped by coincidence in this very nice restaurant, the first impression was nice, and we had a glass of champagne outside by the water. The menu did look a bit complicated, too modern for me, but we tried and it was interesting, good and nice. the wine list is very good, the quality of the products excellent, and we should encourage people who try had and succeed well, we recommend....

Indian restaurant very well situated overlooking the River Meuse and a magnificent view on rocks lit at night. Terrace open in the summer. Typical Indian cuisine with a lot of choice : Our Tandoori specialities like Chicken Tandoori or Scampi Tandoori; Chicken Tikka Masala, Chicken Korma, Scampi Bhuna, Lamb Curry, Chicken Tikka Jalfrezi or Vindaloo and more ... A wide selection of wines. Welcome by the Indian owner.
We really enjoyed our diner at Vallee du Cachemire. The food was excellent, with a wide variety of taste. We shared first a mixed platters of starters with wonderful tastes. Then I had the chicken Korma (really sweet, that's what I like) and my husband asked his Chicken Tikka to be spicy, which was the case. The rice and the naans were wonderful.
The place is great with beautiful view on the Meuse valley.
The waiter (or the boss) was a bit cold in the beginning but became very friendly as we congratulated him on the food. The bill was very reasonable (50 EUR for a shared starter, two main courses, 1/2 wine and an Indian beer)
I've travelled to India and experienced Indian restaurant in different places of the world and I must say, this is quite excellent for Profondeville! We will certainly come back.

It’s a quite nice restaurant outside Namur on the riverside of the Meuse; friendly welcome, two spacious dining rooms with comfortable Seating and a garden Terrace in summer. They are suggesting a menu-based all-in formula and are very proud to use locally produced biological food, which is, indeed, excellent and very tasty. We had a really delicious wood pigeon on vegetables as starter and saddle of hare as well as a filet of Pollock as main courses. Superb !
The cheese selection was equally nice, but unfortunately not so that regional. However, the cheese was well matured. However, one suggestion for improvement: the service was very kind, but might have been slightly more attentive.
An very nice evening ! You should make a reservation.

Recommended by the B&B we were staying at, we had a wonderful evening. Food and service were excellent and delightful. WE returned again on our last night and were delighted when the manager? owner recognized us as The Canadians. The staff work very hard to create a local atmosphere. Remember to reserve for Friday / Saturday as they book quickly. The interior is small however the decor of local information is very interesting. Would dine here as a regular if we were so lucky as to live here.

We came to this restaurant with some colleagues for work. Everything was arranged professionally, the service was very friendly, the food was excellent, and it was a long time ago I had such nice wines included in a menu. Price / Quality very good choice!

I ended up here because of a tip from my B&B hostess. And a good tip it was. Although all seats were reserved, they gave me a place anyway. Friendly people serving here. And the food was good as well: I took the couscous dish which was served with nice smoked meat.

Greek in its original form, creative and contemporary, as is the kitchen of the City of Athens through a map combines simplicity and culinary originality through Hellenic dishes revisited. Fine seasonal products, sometimes forgotten or unknown, always nice freshness, a clear, uncluttered kitchen just right need, light sauces, flavors nuanced
we found this place by accident and decided to try it - the food was nice and quite gourmet type of greek food . Home made bread and other delicacies. Portions were also quite generous, the atmosphere a little bit exaggerated but well taken care of. The only annoying things was the music; a greek cd which was on repeat of 3 songs throughout the night. Staff however was very friendly and the service was very good.
However, in terms of cost it is probably the most expensive greek restaurant we have been ever and in terms of value for money is probably the reason the score is not higher. if u dont mind the cost is definitely worth to try if u are in the area.
