I am Italian but we went with other two families, total 12 guests at the table, 6 adults and 6 children: Danish, English,American and Italian. Great dinner, tasty appetizers, amazing pasta dish with seafood and my favorite.. the tuna!
Matteo helped us, very nice and professional guy: he was recommended by our local friend Nicola, right choice for all of us, adults and children.

Porto Cesareo is not a foodie destination. 'Meeting' may be one of the best restaurants in the town, but it is not a foodie place. We visited it twice, for lunch and dinner. The food was good but there was not a single dish that would make us come back again. The best dish I tasted was a ravioli type pasta stuffed with seafood. The biggest disappointment came when I ordered the whole seabass, which turned out to be cooked only halfway through (the waiter later apologised when I pointed a large chunk of raw meat out to him). Try vermentino wine - very good and only €10 a bottle.

We dined twice in this restaurant. The first evening, service was excellent and extremely nice and attentive, the second evening (Saturday) much less so, as the entire staff seemed barely able to cope with a very full house typical of Italian summer weekends.
On both occasions, though, the food was very good and tasty, generously served. We particularly recommend the spaghetti "alle vongole" and the "roulé di branzino" (a house specialty) and the "rossonegro" wine energetic and a perfect complement to a fish meal (we like red wine with fish and advise you to try it sometime).

Our local tour guide introduced us to this restaurant - he went to university with the owner. We are so thankful that we found Grecale. After a month's stay in Lecce we visited many seafood restaurants, however Grecale has got to be one of the best! Be sure to have them show you the fresh catch of the day. They have an inspired menu that prepares the fresh fish in a variety of interesting and delicious ways. Great wine list too. And don't forget the wonderful Deserts. Highly recommend this place!

Located in one of the most enchanting place of South Salento named "Punto Prosciutto". You will find here the possibility to eat Salento local cusine with fine platter of fish, meat and vegetables originated directly from our cropland. You will enjoy the sensation to savour all this flavors on a Terrace in front of the Ionian Sea.
We went there for the day, we were not disappointed by the location.
Sea was beautiful and people very friendly. The only thing was for lunch where it is a bit tricky as you have to take your plate and find a table which if you are not a group you must share with other people... We wanted to stay the two of us, but the positive thing is you can choose what you want and they make it take away so you can bring it back to the beach which was very nice.
At first we were not confident about the food but it turned out to be very nice!
We recommend this place! And we will surely go back!

Born in Calabria and a frequent visitor to Italy I was told by my cousin who owns restaurants of his own, to visit Le Zagare during my visit to Lecce. We were not disappointed. It was one of the best meals we had. We let Aurelio, owner, order some of the house special appetizers and they did not disappoint. Most were his original creations. The black ink squid was spectacular. In short fantastic. The Resturant is spotless and in season has outdoor Seating. He and his chefs are trained in Lecce culinary schools and have been rated # 1 regional Resturant many times. WELL WORTH THE TRIP. In fact we returned to eat there prior to leaving the area another day.

We came here twice, once on Saturday nigh and once on Monday night. If you want to come here on the weekend, make sure you book in advance as the restaurant is very busy. Interestingly, we preferred Regina on Saturday, the restaurant was full and it had great ambience. Even though, there were two waiters, service was friendly and efficient and food was good. On Monday, initially we were the only patrons in the restaurant and despite that, service was very slow. We also thought that food was not as good or fresh as on Saturday night.

Pescheria 3.0, Modern, 100 Meters From The Sea, Is Possible To Buy Raw Fish Or Cooked, And Eat It Directly. Fries Fish, Grilled Fish, Seafood Appetizers Raw, Wine, Prosecco And Beer
On our family vacation we were recommended 3.0 for great seafood and raw fish. To our surprise, we were absolutely delighted. The atmosphere is not ideal for dining with more than 2 people. Self service dining with limited Seating. The food was SPECTACULAR.... Most customers take-away. We ate there and were fortunate enough to find Seating. We had a blast watching the hustle and bustle of people coming to enjoy their fresh seafood. I was IMPRESSED. If you take-out, don't get anything fried... It won't stay crispy.
Enjoy!

This is a nice, freindly and delicious place. Alessandro and his team (hi Manuel & Paolo) treat you friendly, quick and always with a smile. Went there twice - with kids for a dinner and days later for a snack. Fried calzone - sounds crazy but it is yummy. In opposite to some other pizza / fish places, steel silverware and China are used. However, plastic / PET is alseo present.
Great pizza "Estasy".
