Cooking with love right at the beach!
Lovely spot on the beach (once you negotiate getting in to the Iguana complex) Nice menu, very well presented food on the plate and tasty with it. A couple of very reasonable wines available as well. Excellent service with Pili the perfect host. We loved it and will return!

Da surf spot is a cute little outdoor eating taco stand right on Santana beach within spitting distance from the Rancho Santana clubhouse. Simple tacos, smoothies, chips. Cheap breakfasts and a fun owner who aims to please. A great place to have a cold one after Surfing or an Alt lunch or breakfast stop

Translated, our name is The Farm and the Sea. We showcase a locally sourced menu. Relax and soak in the ambiance of the archi-tec-ture of La Finca y el Mar which was inspired, in part, by sea-side farm-houses in Andalucía, Spain. Open-air ter-races frame stun-ning views of the Pacific as well as rolling hills, flow-ers and rock formations. Buen Provecho!
All meals are an experience here. Breakfast is excellent as is lunch but dinner is superb. Great menu, well presented and delicious food. I particularly recommend the pork belly to begin and then believe it or not the pork chop, wonderful flavours. Reasonable wines. Great service and great views from the Terrace.

From beginning to end this place is superb. The welcome, the hospitality and the ambiance are only exceeded by the food and service. Everything possible is made ther and the fish and meat dishes are outstanding. The homemade sauces and relishes, the Crestor fries and inventive desserts are just part of this unique experience!

We could the restaurant from our Rancho Santana beach. Friends suggested to go there for breakfast. We could have walked on the beach but instead chose to drive. We had a wonderful breakfast and enjoyed a unique magnificent view. The construction going on was a bit of a distraction but it was well worth the trip.

The restaurant at Nicawaves serves up very good food at reasonable prices. We recently stayed there and at many of our meals there. It was all tasty and consistently good. The ladies in the front of the house were friendly, attentive and know more english then they let on.

A better quality of food, but you pay for the privilege! Very attentive waiter, shook our hands upon entering, was right there when you needed something, so that was good. The food too was good, albeit a bit pricey. But in this area there aren't really that many dining choices so overall I thought it was a good option on a Monday night when the local pizza joint was closed! We had seafood, ceviche and brochettes and everyone enjoyed their meals. Also, they gave us free shots of some liquor and chips with a bean spread on the house.

Laid back environment, with the sand as the floor, stars in the sky and the sound of waves crashing in the background. Enjoyed the vegetarian pizza.... lots of melted cheese and paper thin crust that was not coated in flour like some restaurants. It was the perfect amount to feed 2 males with a large appetite. It was a little bit pricey, similar to what you would pay in North America..... with the pizza and two soda waters the bill came to 400 Cordobas. That being said, everything in this town is pricey so at least you are getting good quality in a chill environment. Would totally recommend and return! Good job guys!

LA CANTINA is the on-site restaurant from the design hotel member hotel MESON NADI and located at Playa Santana. We are serving a modern fusion of Central American and Western cuisines. Healthy dishes are inspired and specially created by using well-considerably selected fresh local and organic foods from the sea and the farm. We are open for Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner.
We stayed at Meson Nadi, and I'd go so far as to say the La Cantina restaurant is the best thing about the place. The food was incredible. Tasty, fresh, and amazingly well presented.
My favourite dish was the fish tacos, though I also really enjoyed the jalapeno chicken. I also tried lobster here for the first time ($16 - bargain) and really enjoyed it, which is quite something as I can be fussy about shellfish.
If you are in the area, this is well worth a visit. Even if you're not in the immediate area, it's worth making a trip out here for dinner. I am 110% sure that the food will not disappoint you.
