Playa de las Americas, near Tenerife's southwestern tip, is a lively, upbeat resort built in the 1960s. Today it's crammed with British restaurants, bars and hotels and North European tourists. Its white sands attract hordes of sun worshippers, while nearby El Medano is famed for its windsurfing. Top attractions include sailing, golf and dinner theater shows, but it's the nightlife on Veronica's Strip that is the top draw for the crowds of young tourists who flock here to party around the clock.

Gourmet Chinese, Sushi & Japanese
I have visited this restaurant on previous stays to Tenerife as well as my recent holiday and I have never been disappointed.
The food is beautiful and the staff are professional and attentive.
We will definitely come back on our next visit.
It would have been 5 stars but we walked up to restaurant to book it and were told if we wanted an 8pm slot we had to book it online as they could not book it for us. This was a wasted journey for us away from the pool.

My partner and i choose first love for our third night of our holidat. From the moment we arrive we were made to feel welcome. The waitress was wonderful explaining each dish and describing in salivating detail all of the specials.
She recommended the italian starter which was devine. I then had the seafood linguine whilst my partner had the raviolli, both were superb.
When it was time for dessert my partner was quick to choose the tiramisu which he loved. I unfortunately have an intolerance to cream, i explained this to the owner and he quickly offered me a slice of dark chocolate cake the chef had made for his colleagues. I was incredibly touched, its rare such thought is put in to a customers happiness. It was beautiful.
I cant recommend first love enough, its a beautiful charming restaurant made better by its incredible staff.

We had a delicious evening meal at this genuine Thai restaurant. It wasn’t cheap but the choice and service made it very worth while. When I go back to Las Americas I’ll definitely go back.

...is to be had at this rather out-of-place restaurant. Well worth visiting, decent surroundings, pleasant attentive staff and excellent food.
My only adverse comment is that, as a spice lover, I find the food needs more "heat" - particularly the Curry - however that is my personal palate as my wife finds it just right.
Prices are inexpensive, good sized portions.

Me and my wife are frequent visitors to this restaurant as we are frequent visitors to americas and if I’m honest have had some lovely meals in this place however this holiday was different so I feel compelled to write this review one night I had the Wellington and the most I could have my steak cooked was medium which is fine not for me but the dish depicts it we had guests with us who loved it so it may just of not been my taste but none the less cooked to perfection due to our guests suggestions however our last night of our holiday we decided to have a nice easy meal night as most of us do I love fillet steak but well done I’m afraid some say it spoils the flavour but that’s just how I like it, our meal apart from this was fine but not startling as it does cost more than most restaurants to eat here you do expect the best, however on this occasion the staff where friendly and great may I just say I asked for my steak well done the lady who served me said they would have to butterfly my steak to make sure I’m served it well done I agreed to this as I know it s quite difficult sometimes to make sure it’s cooked right through, and an experienced chef serving this dish butterflied knows if there honest it can be served perfect, we were served our meal which on the plate looked great my wife’s was lovely so no probs there my steak was medium at best which was really disappointing as number one yes the are busy but chefs should be allowed the time to cook it to perfection in an expensive premium restaurant you expect to wait, yes they did come over to ask if our meal was ok, but at this point hadn’t cut into the steak or eaten any chips as we were trying to saviour the ambience of our final night on holiday once I had cut into it I couldn’t believe it for such a great place the poor quality was clear to see chips were par fried and clearly had been stood a while un-eatable the steak was really red but unfortunately we didn’t see staff again for some time until we where finished, at that point the waitress did offer to take away and exchange however my wife had finished her meal so the moment had been spoilt, we did at that point get a visit from someone who I could only assume was management saying well sir you should have said and we would have changed straight away , my response is as follows, number 1 me and my wife don’t want to eat separately ( why should we and who would like to ) and 2nd I said experienced chefs in a restaurant of such calibre shouldn’t send out a meal in this way, she did agree but we found it insulting to be offered a 10% discount of our bill ask yourself restaurant owner my main meal we shouldn’t have paid for everything else yes no problem have frequented your establishment many times and if you ask your host she will remember me due to how often we visit I have no problem with the staff, the place or the price but poor quality I do this is our holiday and you spoilt our last night so thank you for that I really hope you take this on board and learn by the mistake I would if I was you allow the chefs the time to prepare the meal how it was ordered

Cocktail Bar
Have visited many times over the last few years and our holiday wouldn't be complete without a cocktail or three here. Run by a lovely couple who work really hard and produce the best tasting, well priced cocktails, it is small so getting a table can mean a wait but so worth it and never have to wait very long, can't wait to be back in April.

We went to this restaurant with friends who had been previously. The menu was good and the staff very attentive. They seem to have the knack of remembering previous customers so everyone feels welcome. Our friends actually booked the table as it gets very busy, which is a good advert in itself. Meals were good, and would be happy to go back there.

Situated in between the patch and Veronica’s (opposite the Santander Bank). This relaxing cocktail bar has been open since 2005. We offer a range of snacks throughout the day including burgers, toasties and pizzas. Also on offer a wide range of drinks and cocktails at a reasonable price. Please feel free to add reviews and photos.
Only went here for drinks on a few occasions and each time the service was very good, drinks were well priced and there was a good atmosphere.
We had various spirits and also some really nice cocktails but I must say my favourite was the Irish coffee which I would strongly recommend, the best in the area without doubt.

The food was delicious. But the most important for us was the atmosphere. Absolutely amazing. The prices are also very good so we highly recommend to visit this place and meet amazing people, who are working there! Greetings from Poland:)
