La Pizza Pazza is an Italian family restaurant situated in the suburb of Kloof, Kwa Zulu Natal, South Africa. It is loved by the locals and offers diners a traditional Italian Trattoria experience. The warm, welcoming atmosphere perfectly compliments the meals served - a wonderful dining experience! Not just the leading wood fire pizza and pasta restaurant in the area, they also offer a wide range of specials, including, amongst others, the legendary Pepper-crusted aged fillet served on mushroom risotto, melt in the mouth slow roasted lamb shanks and succulent whole baby chicken topped with prawns or calamari. Take outs are available and bookings are recommended, but walk-ins are warmly received.
We are regulars at La Pizza Pazza, we usually go on a Wednesday for some reason.
My husband loves the fact that they serve gluten free pizza as an option. My favourite is the ...Melanzane which is a brinjal, tomato and cheese lasagne type of dish (without the lasagne). I ALWAYS order this as it is so good.
We like the complimentary focaccia as well, it is really delicious.
The kids always take small toys along, as they don’t have a kids play area. Luckily they give the kids pizza dough to play with and bake it for them as well (to take home).
Will return again soon - probably next Wednesday evening :-D

Having been once before, heard new owners so we were worried but nothing to be worried about. Had a fantastic and special anniversary dinner. The signature pork belly dish (yes with crackling) was sublime and don't even get me started on the bread and butter pudding... yummy. A lovely restaurant for that special occasion.

We love the atmosphere of the Bellevue café, and would go there more often if they had a children’s play area/room. The food is very good- we both had the Thai vegetable dish.
We’ve been there for breakfast as well, and then I enjoyed avo on toast...my favourite. We will return (when the kids are visiting grandma). :)

We held a reunion at the Stokers last weekend and their hospitality was excellent. Everybody ordered off the excellent menu and the food was brought at the same time and it was hot and delicious. Our waitress, Tash, was " on the ball" and remained pleasant in some tryting times-- how else do you expect 30 old soaks to behave? I would gladly recommend this establishment to anyone. What a great atmosphere..

Giba is a great family space - ride your bikes (own or hire), walk around the lawn, hike a little etc. Then have a good cup of coffee and really nice chic cake (or when we were there it was) and watch the action around you. Good for a sunday afternoon moment.

The Portuguese word "tasca" describes quaint cafes, bistros or tavernas. These small, well known restaurants are delightful places to eat at. Good food is always prepared with love and consummate skill, using the freshest ingredients available. If the quality of some ingredients are not up to standard, they will not be served. At Atasca we prepare each meal from order, so we ask you to be patient and to relax and enjoy your stay with us the Portuguese way .... Saude!
Vibrant buzzing atmosphere; great variety of dishes; succulent flavours; more than generus portions ... are you with me so far ?
Add to this the type of tip top service that is often so hard to find these days ... and you have a winner. Highly recommended.

Grand Canyon Spur in Pinetown, Durban is a family-friendly restaurant that serves the best ribs, burgers & steaks. Bring along your kids for some great tasting food & dessert from our famous Spur menu!
4 of us , 2 couples took Viv, my wifes brother, sister in law and 2 nieces to Grand Canvon Spur and we quite enjoyed the meal.
Unlike the draconian nanny state licensing laws in W.A. , where we live it is refrshing to have a cider with my meal, and the food was not designed to be overly flash, good quality standard fare, and it is and it works.
Our local family had sugested Grand Canyon Spur and we enjoyed it so ate at a fair few Spurs around the country.
